Vaishal, i don't know about the Imagine TV being included in basic packages but as far as concerned with Jyoti not getting TRPs well, i hope the TRPs increase now as i strongly feel that the plot has improved very well nowadayz by showing jyoti as a strong woman who has the guts to go against all odds...
well, i am a regular viewer of Imagine. i've watched almost all the serials of Imagine whether it was Dharam Veer, Jasuben ki Joint Family, Main Teri Parchhain Hoon, Radha ki betiyaan kuch kar dikhayengi, Chand ke par chalo, Ramayan, Dehleez, Basera, Kashi, Jamunia, Kitani Mohabbat Hai, etc.
I won't say that all the shows were mindblowing but i really loved Ramayan & Dharam Veer.
talking about the other shows Jasuben & Radha ki betiyaan were at least not boring in my opinion though but later on i thought the show Radha ki betiyaan got stretched with unnecessary plots though there was scope for other things to be shown. Chand ke par chalo for me got interesting only after the lead actress came to the city for her father's treatment otherwise the college life shown was simply boring. Basera at first was absolutely boring & was out of focus, it got better only after the show started focusing on the main subject matter but later on just to finish the show they gave such an illogical ending.
why only that... all the shows were ended on an illogical & unconvincing note. not to forget Kashi, personally though i never visited the Kashi forum on IF but i was a regular viewer of the show, i liked it a lot & thought it had the potentiality to be one of the best shows of the channel but unfortunately the story went out of focus. generally first episodes don't really generate interest but Kashi was interesting right from it's first epi. but was disappointing later on. Jamunia was full of violence, i just cudn't handle the way jamunia was being tortured all the time...
about the other ongoing shows of Imagine, i personally like Mahima Shani Dev Ki. but sadly the show hasn't got the TRPs that it deserves. Jyoti as other serial too has gone thru many ups & downs. there was a time where i had made up my mind to stop watching jyoti after brij sudharo andolan but this new track of strong jyoti has impressed me a lot. at least now this show deserves TRPs.
talking about Bandini well i used to watch it a lot but it's been a long time since i've stopped watching it since that entry of Dr. Megha who gets on my nerves & i hear it's going for another leap, so what's left in the show.... nothing at least for me. i'm fed up of it.
no offence but i didn't like Palko Ki chaon mein, Do Hanso ka Joda & Sarvagun Sampanna...
Rakht Sambandh is another good show. but unfortunately it's not fetching good TRPs....
well, Imagine has brought in new concepts regarding reality shows & i appreciate the creativity too. though i personally didn't like some shows like the swayamvar, shaadi & raju hazir ho.
Kitani Mohabbat Hai was nice at first then boring then again interesting then again boring. this happens in all the ekta serials. well i'm waiting for season 2. let's see...
many shows like gunahon ka devta, baba aiso var dhoondo, raaz pichle janam ka - 2, rakhi ka insaaf... are coming up let's see what will they do for Imagine's TRP. but i hope none of the shows replace Jyoti.
i've heard that baba aiso var dhoondo has a very unique concept in which the lead actress will be only 3.5 feet tall, that's why everybody sees her then rejects her. i think the concept sounds interesting & i'm waiting for this show... let's see whether the creatives will do justice to a sensitive subject matter like this.
well i don't have clear idea about other shows but Jyoti was defintely getting competition from Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma of Sab TV & to worsen the situation one of the leading show of Colors Laagi Tujhse Lagan has also been shifted to 8:30 p.m slot which might also be the reason for Jyoti getting less TRPs... just a guess...
