June 30, 2010 Written Update
All leave the room as Kabir enters and takes a seat on the bed beside Jyoti. Jyoti gets up to leave and Kabir asks where she's going. Jyoti tells that she never got a chance to ask that question when he left suddenly. Kabir explains that when Dadi asked him about his family, he didn't know what to say at first. Jyoti is reluctant to listen and tells Kabir that it was her fault for dreaming. She says she should've known that no parent would accept a divorcee mother as a bahu. Kabir tells her she's correct, and that's exactly the reason he was quiet. He explains that his family hasn't moved on with the times, and accepting Jyoti would be unfathomable for them. By this time, Jyoti's whole family is in the room now, listening. Padma thanks Kabir, and tells him she had almost lost faith in him. The whole family suggest Jyoti to marry Kabir. Kabir tells Jyoti that they can get married now, and then tell his family, so they will have no choice but to accept her. Jyoti asks him what would happen if they don't. Kabir says that he is very capable and could handle Jyoti all by himself. Jyoti says that lies have never gotten her anywhere before, and so the only way she will agree is if Kabir goes and convinces his family. She says that if they come here to ask her hand for Kabir, then she would agree. Kabir leaves. (Jyoti realls knows how to mess up her life. She had a terrible experience with a joint family - and she wants that again?)
Jyoti's family asks her why she did that, and to consider how much Kabir must be hurt. Jyoti says it's hurting her to do this to him(yea right), but it's necessary. She explains that she doesn't want anyone to be surprised after the wedding. Jyoti clearly tells them that she doesn't regret her decision.🤢
Kabir is outside when he gets a call from his bhabhi. She asks about the girl's name, and admires the name Jyoti. By a slip of tongue, she asks Kabir if the girl really loves him. Kabir comes to know that his bhabhi knew all along. The bhabhi rushes to the door and closes it, looking frantic. (hmm Kabir's family must be weird😕) She tells Kabir that this relationship will never work, and to come home. Kabir tells her that he is coming home to tell the truth and give justice to his love. She tells him that justice doesn't work here, only orders. Kabir hangs up. The bhabhi is left worried. Kabir meanwhile goes nearby some kids who are sailing paper boats, and sails one away himself.
Just then, her husband arrives in the room. He asks her who she was talking to and she says it was Kabir. He takes out a gun😲 from his pocket and hands her his coat. She is obv very scared of him and starts taking off his shoes as he lies down on the bed. She goes on to massage his feet😕 and he asks her what she was talking to him abt. Bhabhi explains that he was talking abt his music shows. Kabir's brother says that he still can't believe Kabir was born into their family, and if he had just settled down he could be doing business like him. The bhabhi mentions that Kabir is coming to visit, and the brother says that this time he will tie Kabir down with some marriage proposals so he won't be able to leave. The brother screams at bhabhi for not massaging correctly and leaves the room. Bhabhi is left in tears worried for Kabir. End. (Kabir is gonna get shot as soon as he mentions Jyoti... and the only person to blame will be Jyoti!!)
