I actually found one aspect of Friday's episode funny - while Jyoti is left to think that her baby is gone, and so she tries to bring happiness to any baby she sees, Neelam now has the burden of caring for Pankaj's baby. I found Pankaj's statement priceless - what sort of a mother are you, and then, I care for this baby so much that I separated her from her real mother, so I won't think a second about separating from you, if you don't take real good care of her.
Somehow, Neelam seems to be the new Sushma - caught in an abusive relationship. She has to really care for a baby that she hasn't biologically adjusted to - had she been pregnant and had given birth, her reaction would have been different. Brij accused Sushma of having a baby that wasn't his, and Pankaj is forcing on Neelam a baby that ain't hers. But now she just has to make Jyoti's baby happy anyhow - and luckily for her, Roshni, like her birth mom, seems easy to please. But Neelam had better figure out how to make her life revolve around her, if she wants her marriage to last. I wonder if Pankaj would even bother rewarding her w/ a baby of her own if she does a good job here. That would give Neelam marriage security, since she knows her dear husband would never part w/ his babies.
So, instead of Kabir being stuck w/ someone else's kid, Neelam is! 😆🤣 Maybe Pankaj can ask CM to arrange for the kid's annaprasan, which will be its first major ceremony, and force Neelam to get a bro to perform that ceremony. They can also bring Kesav-ji, Minal & Sumant to enjoy these festivities, as well as the Bharadwaj family.
