May 25, 2010 Written Update

Kabir laughs at Jyoti's serious face and tells her he was just joking about that part, but as he said before, he will always continue to love her and there's nothing she can do to change that. The doctor comes in and tells Kabir that he can get discharged first thing tomorrow morning. Jyoti spends the rest of her day with Kabir and leaves after he's asleep later. She reaches home and an angry-looking Poonam opens the door. Poonam tells her to not be so late tomorrow night, as her parents are holding a jagraata.

In Pankaj's house Pankaj is thinking about Jyoti and throws a glass ball he was holding at the wall. Neelam walks in just then and screams at Pankaj. He screams back, asking why she's returning home so late. She tells him he has no right to ask her that, when he's the one who didn't want to accompany her. He tells her that she knows he can't stand those parties. Neelam tells him back that it's because people at those parties know how to live and don't spend their lives in darkness like him. He tells her he knows she married him out of majboori. She replies that she's glad he has 'ehsaas' of that fact. (go neelam!👏😆)

The next morning, Deepu, Jyoti and Amit (amit returns finally) all help discharge Kabir. Kabir, on seeing the wheelchair brought in for him asks why he needs one of those when he got a bullet wound in his chest. He teases the nurse about it and she leaves giggling.😆 All four of them arrive at Kabir's house. Jyoti takes one look at his room and cringes. She makes some room for him to sit on his bed by moving some messy clothes aside and then starts cleaning. Jyoti starts muttering abt what the world would come to without women.😆 He tells her to not move anything, and he has everything all around for a purpose. He starts explaining that the towel is on his bed to remind him to bathe, etc. Jyoti laughs at him and continues cleaning.

Meanwhile Pankaj arrives at the hospital asking abt Kabir and offers to pay the bill. He's confused hearing he's been discharged and asks for his contact details. At Kabir's house, Jyoti is trying to feed Kabir more medicine when the phone rings. She picks it up, unaware that its Pankaj on the other line calling. He is silent but Jyoti continues talking about how Kabir Pratap Shishodya (so she does know his name) can't talk to anyone right now since he is resting and hangs up.

At home, all are waiting for Jyoti who reaches home just then. Poonam says something under her breath and Jyoti walks up to her. She puts Poonam in her place and tells her that after all Kabir has done for their family and by putting his life on the line for a stranger, serving him is her duty. (finally somebody says something to her!) Padma tells Jyoti to drop it and not increase the fight. All of them later arrive at the jagraata and are introduced to Poonam's snobby-ish chachi. The chachi explains that Poonam is closer to her than her own mother (well... that explains a lot). All pray and the chachi takes Poonam aside to ask abt her married life. Poonam tells her that everything goes the way Jyoti wants and chachi whispers some ideas to get rid of Jyoti to her. (if those ideas mean Jyoti can marry Kabir, then yay for chachi!) End.

• When Jyoti returned home & Poonam was pissed b'cos the food had gotten cold, couldn't Jyoti have told her that she had eaten @ Kabir's while taking care of him?
• Jyoti's first entry into Kabir's room looked like a skit on a grihapravesh, w/ her foot hitting a soccer ball instead of a rice pot 😉😆
  
• Jyoti refuses to marry Kabir, and yet, forcibly re-arranges his room. Dear, this is a privilege only wives enjoy, as you must be knowing 😆😆 Also, Jyoti, not that I'm wishing for it, but if there were no women, we'd find our things that much more easier 😉 Her snatching that book from his hand was just priceless 😆
  
• The way Jyoti spoke to Pankaj, w/o knowing that it was him, was out of this world. Both needed it!!! Incidentally, Jyoti did know who Kabir was from the night they spent in the temple. Now, Pankaj knows it as well - that the characterless woman who he dumped has landed a prince, while he's stuck w/ a quasi-vamp!
  
• Jyoti should have read Padma the riot act as well on Kabir, and told her not to try and spin what Poonam had clearly said. Force Padma to make Poonam fearful of the consequences
• Jyoti hasn't been writing for a while, by the look of it, but Chachi instantly recognizes her from her naya pankh column? Or was it actually the stories about her divorce that did the papers?
  
• All are praying, but Poonam & her chachi are gossiping away separately. Also, Deepu catches it when Poonam is explaining to her chachi how Jyoti was late
