NDTV Imagine's Jyoti will see the entry of Sonia Singh of Dill Mill Gaye fame, as the new girl in Pankaj's life..

Pankaj aka Sarwar Ahuja in NDTV Imagine's Jyoti has moved on in life, after getting the divorce papers signed by Jyoti (Sneha Wagh).

His family is now thinking of getting him married again, and Pankaj actually accepts the decision. There will soon be a new girl in Pankaj's life, and entering the show will be Sonia Singh.

Sonia Singh is presently seen in the role of Dr. Kirti in Star One's Dill Mill Gaye.

According to our source, "Sonia Singh has started shoot, and her entry will be aired on Monday. Her character name is Neelam, whose family accepts Pankaj as their son-in-law. Soon the roka ceremony of Pankaj and Neelam will be shown, and their marriage will also happen".

The upcoming track will focus on Pankaj and Jyoti taking their individual stands for their future.

Giving more detail on Neelam's character, our source states, "Neelam will neither be a completely positive nor a negative character. She will react differently depending on the situations she is put into".

Confirming the news Sonia Singh told Telly Buzz, "Yes, I have started shooting. However, you need to watch the show to know more about my character".

Let's see how Jyoti and Pankaj's lives shape up now…

Okay, if one remembers, this is the gal Uday was supposed to prefer to Sudha, right? Not only CM, but even Jyoti pointed out how beautiful she was. But looking at her, she looks horrible🤢, and nowhere close to Sudha! Yeah, I can imagine Pankaj falling for her, but Uday? No wonder he preferred Sudha to her.

One thing that strikes me - having been humiliated by the Vashisths once, why is Neelam's family offering her to them again? And is she/her family after their money - since she's willing to marry a blind guy? Surely she can do better than that, no? With Jyoti, she was attracted to Pankaj's defiant attitude in face of his handicap, but that's obviously not the case w/ Neelam. If above she's not supposed to be a negative character, how does one explain why she chose to enter this marriage, despite the humiliation last time?

Of course, now since she'll marry Pankaj, the sad thing is that she'll be Sudha's jethani in the house. But on the bright side, not only will she keep CM busy, and out of Sudha's hair, hopefully, but she'll also enable Minal to return to Jaipur. I doubt that MN&G will like her - I hope that they get their happiness from Sudha the way they used to from Jyoti. Also, I do hope they have Pratik marrying as well.

I do look forward to more of her, as well as Poonam. Maybe a good idea might be to have Pankaj & Deepu's weddings coincide. Suday will be in a bind as to which one to attend. 😈

Except for Jyoti's pregnancy, things seem to have turned out pretty well for her. Now, if only one could resolve this problem called Padma...

Hey Vrisha ..i had seen Sonia Singh earlier in KUMKUM & DMG ..she is not ugly....she is famous for playing negative or Grey character...I think she will hate Jyoti too.as PANKAJ CAN NEVER LOVE HER..ShE will know that Pankaj still love Jyoti

i feel sorry for the new wife because she will suffer

and pan family will be sorrry because their successor will be only jyoti's son !!!

now the serial becomming much more interesting

^^^^^^^^^^^^Why will their only successor (to MN&G) be Jyoti's kid (and what if it's a girl)?? Pankaj could easily have more kids w/ Neelam, and what's more, Pratik could marry and have kids as well. Not to forget Uday & Sudha, who too could have kids of their own and continue the family.

This is the least of their problems.

uh, this is just plain stupid

jyoti serial has offficially been ruined.

this is so lame! the storyline has taken an ugly turn now and its too overdramatic

marriage & relationship is a joke in this serial

Yeah, on that note, I wonder whether the serial is heading towards its end? I mean this week, the promos show Jyoti resuming her dance teaching, and mind you, it's still early in her pregnancy. In b/w, they could cover the marriages of Pankaj and Sandeep, and the childbirth of Sushma, but what else is there, since they ain't showing us any of Suday's romance, or anything to be happy about.

And I agree w/ the last comment - Pankaj essentially allowed himself to be pimped, and CM, who we all once admired w/ some reservations, has shown herself to be one of the most hateful sa'as'. If at the end of the serial they don't put her in jail, I'll consider this serial a failure.
