Maybe today she showed that she has partly changed. She has invited Jyoti back to the house, and now when Jyoti is looking for a job, Padma still tries to stop her and tells her that it's okay that she is not working ...

She day by day is showing some improvements on the way she acts with Jyoti overall. If she had wanted to, she could have encouraged Jyoti to work to help to support the family ...

Today, she looked like she has, when she accepted responsibility for Jyoti leaving the house, which is what led her to marry Pankaj, which is what led her to today when she's thrown out.

I still hate her, but it's nice to see her owning up some...

Oopsi doopsi... let's not speak too soon..looks like Padma's negative side hasnt totally vanished... While talking to Deepu, she was blaming Jyoti for whatever problem Jyoti is facing now... yesterday she was blaming herself for all this in front of Jyoti. After a good night sleep, her mind has changed back to negativity.

Jyoti should leave Udaipur and go find a job somewhr in a city where she wont be known by anyone. Or Kalpana could help her find a suitable clerical job in her hospital and house share with Jyoti... Kalpana's mom was more kind and supportive for Jyoti more than Padma was.. I guess that's the temporary solution for now. Padma is making things worse for Jyoti instead of supporting her during her depression.

Yeah, I knew it was too good to be true.

However, I don't think Jyoti should necessarily leave Udaipur, but she could either move back w/ Kalpana and be out of Padma's hair. But I seriously think she should divorce Pankaj, forget him and slowly find another guy and another job. If she can manage these 2 and one day marries, then she would have successfully moved on. While I do like Pankaj, I do think Jyoti deserves better than him, at least given cm around.

Pankaj could go w/ Miss Mehta, the gal who's clearly unsuitable for Deepu but great for Pankaj, since the Mehtas are really interested in the Vashisth family.
