Brief update - Episode of Dec 3rd '09
After Meenal's FIL disowns her and leaves, she fumes at Sudha and accuses her of ruining her life. Jyoti runs to console her, but in return she is accused of being the cause of it all. After Jyoti leaves, Meenal vows to CM that she will make life hell for the Sharma sisters. Jyoti is worried for Meenal and also for Sudha wondering if all this will cause an adverse effect on her health. But Pankaj assures her that Sudha will be fine and to let her fight her own battles. While Uday is unaware of all that happened downstairs, Sudha sits alone and cries silently. Back at the Sharma house, feeling bad for all Sushi had to endure by posing as the servant in front of Uday, Deepu gets her a gift. But all advise her to continue to be cautious in front of the Vashishts. Next day, Pankaj's mom sets up the kul-devi puja for Sudha. Sudha does as instructed, while Meenal looks on in fury. She thinks up a way to humiliate Sudha, and while all are lost in prayers, Meenal manipulates and makes Sudha drop the puja ki thali. All are upset and worried and call the thali falling a bad omen. Sudha cries helplessly, while Meenal looks on victoriously.
Precap and comments (by Vrisha) - Sudha is lying in Uday's bed, and wakes up as Devika. She wonders where she is, and who's there, and on discovering that she's in Uday's house, storms out of the room. Uday goes after her and protests that he didn't cheat her. Devika then snatches a flower vase and knocks Uday unconscious. By then, everybody has gathered there, and is shocked. And so is Devika - it was unclear whether Devika turned into Sudha and was shocked, or whether she was shocked as Devika herself.
Comment: I hate it that everytime Sudha turns into Devika, Uday is the target of her anger. I really hope that CM & Minal start ranting @ Devika, and that she takes a good swing @ them. That might teach them to be careful while they are around her. But I doubt that will happen tonight - if Devika is shocked @ what she did to Uday, she wont be aggressive towards others.
This might be a way to merge Sudha & Devika - Devika toning it down some, and Sudha toning it up.
