In a past episode, when Minal first broke to Jyoti the news of Uday's engagement, she told Jyoti in a very cocksure manner that that was the best way to marry, she herself did it that way, and that Uday wont do things the way Pankaj did (HA!!! 😛😛😛)

But last night, w/ Minal being disowned by Kesav-ji due to Uday eloping w/ Sudha, and Kesav-ji concluding that Sudha was a criminal/low bred girl who was only exonerated on a technicality, I had mixed feelings about it.

On one hand, Minal's baloon has been popped, and until now, she has been very smarmy, and throwing her weight around and showing her attitude not only to Jyoti & Sudha, but Uday as well. So I had a good laugh @ Kesav-ji stating that Minal was no longer welcome back home, and if she did return, she wouldn't be accepted. I liked the look on CM when he said that.

OTOH, that just means that Minal is now there full time to make Sudha's life miserable, and unlike in the past, when she didn't have her own ax to grind but was just being a chamcha to CM, this time, she'll be feeding the flames herself. And saddest thing is that unlike for Jyoti, Minal & CM are relation-wise the closest to Sudha.

So are you happy or sad that Minal has been disowned & her marriage could be over?

Side note: I liked Kesav-ji first blessing Sudha & giving her, along w/ Jyoti, a gift, and shocking CM, before he launched into his attack on Sudha, and then by extension, the Vashisth family

P.S. Did anyone notice that in Uday's wedding episode, @ the engagement, the bride was never shown? Everyone else was - her parents, her aunts, uncles, et al, but not her.

I was happy, because deserves misery

But after seeing her stunt today with the aarti ka diya, I want her gone!!

I would like to see her on her hands and knees and beg her FIL to take her back. Whatever. But she needs to go. She just feuls Bhairavi further

Tonight, Sudha will become Devika again, and knock Uday unconscious. If she confronts Minal and gives her a good hiding, that will fix the latter for good. She also would need to do something about CM.

As for Minal, I think Pankaj is right in that Sumant is more likely than not to overrule his father and recall her.

well firstly, i'de just like to say, AHAHAHAH IN YOUR FACE CHOTIMA! if those are the kind of people [kesav-ji and co] that you want to be assiciated with then you should pay the price. chotima keeps going on about how jyoti and sudha are not from her biradari and it is shameful but look at what someone who IS from her biradari did - disowned meenal at the drop of a hat. kesav-ji thinks he can decide his son's future [he can decide whether his son's wife will/will not be accepted] just like chotima does. it's funny really.

secondly, i agree, meenal needs to go. as horrible as she is, i don't think chotima would be so bad if meenal wasn't there to stir. chotima has a tendency to forgive but as soon as meenal enters the picture and encourages her to be strong and hard, she morphs into some kind of witch. i think kesav-ji should have taken meenal back but given her a taste of her own medicine with some snide comments. maybe then she would've appreciated what jyoti and sudha go through at the hands of her mother.

also, her voice irritates my ears. 😵

The funniest thing about the above is that Devika is the one who dances in a bar (actually, it wasn't a bar, it was the dance floor of a disco where alcohol just happens to be served), and Minal's marriage is what's threatened by it, not Sudha's 🤣🤣🤣(of course, Sudha's relationship w/ Uday was threatened until they all found out about her DID, but that was b'cos he thought she was playing w/ his emotions by being both Devika & Sudha, not b'cos she was @ a disco)

The other thing is that CM was normally proud of how modern & progressive she is, and doesn't have those traditional hang-ups (for a 5-star widow, that's obvious), but then, when it was time to give her daughter in marriage, she picked the son of a very superstitious astrologer for her hubby. Couldn't find someone from a corporate or similar background, instead of the son of a superstitious geezer who is so full of himself that when his friend wants his help in getting his daughter married, he decides to dump her on his bahu's bro.

Exit question: would you like to see Brij hook up w/ and date Minal? Maybe, then, Sumant could marry that Kota gal that Uday rejected?
