As soon as Prthvi saw the foot , he knew who it was and wave of pure maliciousness filled his eyes, nostrils and consumed his whole body. - i like the whole switch in personality and then the way he becomes caring again towards Meera. Sigh

He picked Meera again, this time real fast , took her inside the cottage and put her down.
He cupped her face and said
Prithvi:Close the door and windows.
Prithvi:Don't open them until I return.
After giving her instructions, he closed the door, locked it from outside and disappeared out of Meera's eyes as if he was never there,as if he had betrayed her,as if death leaves life.

- loved the bit where he cupped her face. So protective 😉

Chapter 13

Chapter 14

Once outside the cottage , Prithvi picked his loyal and beloved Stick and covered the distance to the main gate in three fast strides.

Suddenly the air seemed scared,frightened with overpowering malevolence.

Prithvi closed the iron gate and stood in front of it with his long stick in his right hand and his left hand stretched to the other end of the end.

It looked like he wont even let the venom infected air to pass through him.

The man in the SUV was now standing right in front of him flaunting the most wicked smile brimming with cunning over confidence.

He came out with three of his associates who stood behind him.

Prithvi stood where he was with eyes filled with hatred,courage ,determination and some thing stronger that gave him the strength to block every thing threatening to harm Meera.

The two men looked towards each other with nothing but malice.The only difference was the age old difference between good and evil,right and wrong.

The evil always more cunning and more shrewd than good and ready to shred goodness with its poisonous fangs.

The tension in the air was so eminent and hard that it could be cut using a knife.

Prithvi:What brings Lakhan thakur to the tatters of Prithvi?

Lakhan(smiling even more vociferously):Relax, I couldn't stop thinking about you.

Prithvi :I told you you to stay away from me.

Lakhan(with a Cheshire cat grin ): you know I am famous for disobeying.

Lakhan and his men kept walking towards Prithvi making Prithvi even more restless.

Prithvi: Stop right there , If any of you takes one more step , I wont be held responsible for breaking your bones.

Prithvi's threat not only stopped the advancing but it was successful in stopping Lakhan's over confident grinning.

Lakhan(raised an eyebrow):Is that a warning.

Prithvi:No, it is your future if you don't listen to me.

Lakhan very clearly understood the seriousness of his threat.

Lakhan:Look, I didn't came here to fight with you.I have brought a proposal beneficial for both of us.

Prithvi: I don't think i can ever get any benefit from you other than the satisfaction of beating you up.

Lakhan twitched his lips remembering about their last encounter which had resulted in Lakhan's fractured ribs.

Lakhan:See, there is no point remembering the past , I have got a proposal for you.I know about the girl.

Meera's name from Lakhan's lips increased Prithvi's anger ten folds and made his blood boil.

Lakhan continued ...

There is a reward of 1 crore on her and I am offering you 50% considering the fact that you were the one who found the girl.

let's deliver her to them and you can get 50 lakhs without any effort.

Confident that Prithvi will never disagree to this , he moved further and extended his hand and said..

Lakhan(the grin widening ):Agree???

Uncontrolled fury ran through Prithvi's whole body and it tightened and clenched with even more rigor on hearing that Lakhan was talking about Meera.

He was talking about her like she was some piece of junk.

He couldn't stop himself and he leaped in the air with only one intention of shutting the mouth of the person who was shamelessly talking about making a deal for his Meera.

The other three men who were behind Lakhan came instantaneously in front of him to save him.

The three of them put their sticks in front of Prithvi's stick and stopped him from hitting Lakhan. Prithvi roared and got his stick from under there's and hit the extreme right guy with it.

He fell on the ground taking the other two with him.

All the three of them were on the ground and Prithvi was hovering over them.

At the same time Lakhan hit him from behind on his back with a rod which he had picked from the ground.

Prithvi turned at the same instant and pulled the rod from Lakhan's hand and hit him with the same rod on his left shoulder.

Lakhan screamed and winced with pain, in the meantime one of the fellow lying on the ground stood up and punched Prithvi.

Prithvi caught his fist in mid air with his left hand and punched him very hard on his face and made him howl with despair.

The next person lying also made the mistake of hitting Prithvi with the knife he was hiding in his clothes.

A severe cut occurred on Prithvi's elbow but it did not deter Prithvi in any way .

Prithvi caught his hand holding knife and stopped before he could strike again and kicked him and made him fly.

By this time Lakhan and rest of the two guys had made to the SUV and were ready reversing it.

The third fellow was hit so hard that it took him time to reach the SUV.

Lakhan shouted from the SUV

Lakhan:I know why you aren't letting her go , you want the whole money to yourself , you bl*** gold digging b*****, but remember you can not take her

outside the village with my men guarding all the entrances.

Prithvi threw the knife which was lying on the ground towards lakhan and he had to dunk inside to save himself.

By this time the third fellow had also reached to the SUV and it reversed and disappeared the way it had come.

Lakhan's words hung in the air and stayed in the air for Prithvi and Meera who was watching and listening to every single word from one of the windows she had opened.

Her feet froze, mind numbed to complete blankness , her fingers curved into fists, lumps started forming into her blood and her heart was pounding so hard

that it would have made hole out of her chest and come out.

'You want all the money to yourself' ... the words were continuously echoing in her head and every word seemed to spear her heart.

Prithvi was a stranger and a Man and she knew better than any one else not to trust either of them.

Why did she trust him?

Why did he seemed different.

How could she do this to herself.

How could she let her feelings get better of her senses.

She felt betrayed , cheated , foolish and naive to trust a stranger.

She didn't know when and how tears started flowing down her eyes.

Prithvi opened the door from outside and knocked the door.

His knocking brought her back to the reality.

She didn't want to open the door, didn't want to see his face , didn't want to listen to him.

Prithvi kept knocking and called her name.

She felt a new wave of rage flowing through her on hearing her name in his voice.

she realized she was in his home, far from civilization, no access to any resources and was totally on his mercy.

He could do anything with her and there was no way she could stop him.

More tears fell from her eyes

She was indeed helpless.

It took extreme will power for her to compose herself.

She wiped her tears ,determined to fight back , determined not to give up, determined to not accept defeat, determined to find her way.

The knocking persisted and finally Meera opened the door.

Just one look at Meera realized Prithvi that his warrior princess was back and this time undoubtedly she was more furious.

Chapter 15

guys, this was my first try at writing an action sequence.

Hope i did do justice to it, apologies if I was totally off the road.
