Recently, there has been a lot of speculation over some of the Life Ok shows like Junoon — Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq, 26/12, Amrit Manthan and Savitri being under the scanner. There were also talks of a couple of them like Junoon and 26/12 going off air due to low ratings. However, Ajit Thakur, General Manager, Life Ok denies it completely. Says Thakur, "Both shows will continue. We are developing shows to open new slots like 7 pm and on weekends." Currently their original programming starts from 7.30 pm with Amrit Manthan. Earlier when the channel was introducing Savitri, they had shifted Amrit Manthan which was aired at 8.30 pm to 7.30 pm. Similarly, to make way for new shows, they may just shuffle a couple of the existing ones instead of axing them. Chaya Unnikrishnan
