Prithvi I think asked those questions to make Meera understand what mistake she is doing. Its not that he is in love nor he wants to hear back YES to his questions. He is just showing her the reality of the situation what he is trying to resolve. Somewhere in the run to unite her father and mother she is ruining her life. This is what her mom thinks and Prithvi has realized that.
He precisely asked, whether she loves? NO, She loves Akaash.
Has she started liking here? NO, she likes Delhi. That's her place.
Is she ready to spend her life together with him? Hell, NO.
Prithvi thinks, when answer to those questions are NO and if opportunity comes by itself to resolve the mess, then why not take it?
Prithvi might have asked her in an unpolished way...but it has its seriousness. Prithvi knows there is no good outcome in this situation.
I don't know how Meera will take these questions and answers him. He is questioning her long term goal but Meera will put forth her short term goal.
