Jalal was hugging kids tight to his heart with his one hand, caressing their head and kissing all over their faces. Kids were so happy to get their father's love for the first time

Jodha smiled in happiness watching her dream come true. She was just looking at them with teary eyes and smiling lips.

Her trance was broke when she heard Jalal wince in pain when he tried to hug them.

Immediately kids came out of his hug and saw his bandaged hand

"What happened abbu???" they both again asked at a time

Jalal smiled and answered "abbu is hurt bacche."

"Is it paining a lot???"asked Salim.

"It was paining, now as I met my angels, there is no more pain" answered Jalal imitating their baby voice

Aram kissed his hand

"Hey... shoo.. go away" she said cutely. Jalal caressed her hairs and kissed her cheek

Salim too did same as aram and Jalal caressed his hairs and kissed him. He grinned in happiness, that moment jalal felt as if seeing himself in mirror, he only got Jodha's eyes and remaining all features are carbon copy of him

"OK, kids.. let abbu fresh up and eat something, then you can play, OK??? He's not fine, let him rest" said Jodha caressing their head

Aram and Salim just nodded and kissed Jodha on her cheeks

"You people continue playing, ammi will help your abbu"

They nodded smiling and gave her a cute smile. She hugged them and kissed their cheeks

Jalal smiled seeing their smile

Jodha took him into room, took off the blanket covering his upper body and cleaned his body with warm water

"Kids are so cute" jalal tried to start a conversation, but jodha was all silent

After cleaning him, she gave him her phone, "maybe you want to call and inform someone", she said indicating him to call her wife indirectly

She couldn't hide her hurt

He took her phone and saw their marriage photo as her wallpaper in which he was kissing her cheek, holding her waist, while her head was turned to other side, her eyes widened in shock due to sudden kiss, pure love was oozing out of that pic, that single pic spoke millions of words about their love

He looked at Jodha, she was looking at him, tears were filled in her eyes, she turned to other side as soon as their eyes met and wiped of them and was about to go out thinking he might need privacy, but Jalal held her hand as a reflex, with fear of her moving away

She looked at him with questioning eyes, he slowly freed her and mouthed "Pleaseee", so Jodha sat on stool silently beside him

He only remembers Mirza and Abdul's number. He called Mirza and it was switched off. So he called abdul

Abdul cut the call for continuous 5 times, then finally lift the call and shouted "who are you????"

"Abdul... its me" answerec jalal hearing his irritated voice

Abdul only whispered "jalaal..."

Jalal could hear his ammijaan's tensed voice in the background."what happened abdul??? any information about jalal"

She was worried as hell

For some reason he felt happy listening her worried voice for the first time, it shows how much she love and care for him, he had tears of happiness in his eyes

Jodha got worried seeing his tears. Without her knowledge, her hands automatically wiped his tears

Jalal smiled at her and kissed her hands as a reflex.

This brought jodha out of her trance and she pulled back her hand

Jalal felt bad when she pulled, but talked to Abdul "I am fine abdul, I will tell you everything in detail later, please give phone to ammijaan"

As soon as Jodha heard Ammi, she looked at him eagerly as if a child looking for her favorite candy

Jalal chuckled at her excitement inwardly "Ammijaan, i am jalal speaking, i am totally fine, don't worry"

Hamida became so happy hearing his voice and replied "Jalal...i thought... i thought... " she didn't speak anymore and then suddenly said "i am sorry jalal. i shouldn't have been so rude to you, when i didn't knew your whereabouts for a day, i realised it..." she sobbed saying this

Jalal felt bad, due to his silly reasons which he realized is baseless, he hurt 2 most important women of his life,he started feeling guilty, but then decided its time to set everything right "ammi.. ammi.. don't cry, i understand your feelings, your anger is so justifiable, i am sorry, i did a grave mistake, i will rectify it now"

"What do you mean jalal???" asked hamida in confusion, here jodha too looked at him in confusion

"Ammijaan... i have a surprise for you"

He gave phone to jodha and signaled her to talk, she immediately grabbed her phone and whispered "Ammii..."

Hamida and Jodha couldn't talk anything, hamida was happily surprised "Jodhaa... meri bacchi... is that really you???"

Jodha had happy tears in her eyes and sobbed not able to control her feelings "ammi.. yes its me, how are you ammi????"

"i am fine, my child, missed you like anything, my baby girl. how have you been??? is jalal with you??? how come???"

"mmm.. ammi.. i met him in hospital where i work, just small injury, i got him home" she didn't tell her anything as she doesn't want her ammi to be tensed.

"Nothing serious right ???" asked hamida feeling worried

"No ammi.." and they talked with each other for a while, jalal was happy to see her smiling face like a kid after long years

Jodha suddenly remembered something "ammi.. ammi.. i have a surprise....", while Jalal realized what she is about to tell, he closed her mouth and signaled her no

On the other side, by then abdul took phone from hamida, abdul too talked to Jodha

"Bhai.. where is mirza???" asked jodha missing her devar

"He went to police station as there was no information about jalal, his phone got damaged, he smashed it in frustration, he has more temper than our jalal" abdul chuckled telling this, Jodha too smiled

"I will get him call you when i meet him. i will go to station and get him home"

Jodha hummed and cut the call

Jodha looked at jalal, he was already looking at her, she realized something and gave him her phone again, jalal looked at her in confusion, she asked him meekly "you didn't call and inform your wife???"

Jalal smiled at her assumption that he married someone else and now he understood why she had tears when she gave him phone earlier

"She already knows where i am" he answered smiling at her

"How???? you didn't call her.. ohhh.. will abdul bhai inform her" she asked thinking after a while

Jalal was amused with her thought process, he didn't know whether to hit his head to wall or kiss her for her innocence

"No buddhu.. I am in her home.."

She widened her eyes listening this, uncertain of what he's telling her and asked"what are you talking????"

He winked at her and smiled at her

"You... you... you mean.. you mean what i think you mean"

"What do you think i mean???" he is enjoying teasing her

Suddenly jodha got serious "jalal.. its not time to tease, please be serious, whatever you want to say, you please say it on my face"

She folded her arms in front of him "please don't play with my feelings, please..." she told him with broken voice with teary eyes

Before jalal can say anything, she continued "jalal... you are free to go after you are completely fine, no need to take responsibility of kids, i will somehow convince them, maybe i am not fit for your love, don't do this to kids, they aren't strong like me, they won't even understand why their abbu is sending them away from him, i myself couldn't make my heart understand till now"

She knelt on ground crying bitterly, wiped her tears "I am sorry, disturbing you with my emotional talk, you take rest, after you are fine, you are free to go, just please don't give hopes to kids which are baseless, maybe your wife and kids are waiting for you, who deserve your love" saying this she stood up to go out of room

Jalal held her wrist and made her sit on bed and he knelt in front of her

Jodha was shocked "what are you...." he didn't let her complete her question, he shushed her

"Please... listen to me... please don't interrupt, after i am done talking, i will respect whatever your decision is...please..."

She was silent, he took it as cue to continue, he held her hands

"Jodha... before everything, i want you to know that.. you are the only woman in my life jodha, you are the queen of my heart not just in this life, but in all my lives. i am sorry, i really am.. i know i did a grave mistake, which is not forgivable, now that i knew there is no reason for me to stay away from you, i want you and kids back in my life"

"Jalal.. if its about kids, you can meet them whenever you want, its not like i won't let you meet them, there is no need for you to live like this in loveless life, already we were divorced, you are free to do whatever you want, me and kids won't claim anything from you"

"Jodhu... please..." hearing her nickname from him, she looked at him with teary eyes

"Why jalal??? why??? you know how hard it was for me to stand back on my legs, you know how hard it was for me to live without you all, now when i am finally able to live after a long struggle, now when i am able to smile hiding my pain, why are you back?? what do you want from me??? what more is left jalal???"

Jalal hugged her when she was pouring out her pain "jodhu.. i am sorry, its not about kids babu, i want you too. why are you thining its for kids???"

"You said you didn't love me, you said you are done with me and got bored of me, you said you can't live in peace in my presence, then now you are claiming you want me back, what should i think then jalal????"

Jalal wiped her tears and kissed her eyes and forehead to relax her, jodha tried to move away but instead closed her eyes feeling his touch

"Jodha.. its all because of my foolish, i did all that thinking you will be happy, if you are away from me"

Jodha crinkled her eyebrows in confusion.

"How can i be happy if i am away from you when i love you with my everything, this is so stupid thought. what has made you think like that"

Jalal took a deep breath "jodha... i thought that i was infertile"

Jodha stood up in shock "you... you are what?????"

Jalal made her to sit again "when you called me telling you have a surprise, the same day i got to know about this, i cross checked with other doctors too" and he narrated her everything

Jodha just looked at him without even blinking her eyes "jodhu.. speak something"

"what should i say jalal??? well you can see.. its all false, i was pregnant, i wanted to see your face while telling this to you, i wanted to have our privacy, so didn't come to your office"

Suddenly she realized something and continued "that woman, mahamanga.. she must have something to do this, she many times tried to insult me that i am an orphan and someday you will get bored of me, that's why you didn't announce our marriage in public, but your love made me ignore her"

"What?? why didn't you tell me all this earlier" asked jalal

"She is your badiammi, that meant bigger than ammi, so i just respected her ande didn't wanted to bother you when i myself am ignoring her, well its not the main concern of us right now"

"jodha.. i am sorry for everything, it because i trusted in wrong people, i am really sorry. I also think badiammi is involved in all this, i will deal with that later, i will find all evidences and then proceed. Now my main and one and only work is to get your forgiveness"

"jalal.. i understand why you did this?? but jalal, even if you are infertile, we would have adopted kids right??? for me nothing was more important than you"

Jalal hugged her and kept on saying sorry "i have nothing to say except soory, jodha.. give me one chance, i will make it up to you"

Jodha makes him sit on bed and sat beside him

"jalal.. i can't understand one thing, you did this thinking you are infertile, but why didn't you come searching for me, when you got to know i was pregnant"

This blew up jalal in surprise

"What ??? i didn't know you were pregnant. why do you think i know you were pregnant, i would have made whole world upside down searching for you"

"i don't know jalal, when i was out, i didn't know where to go, i sat in a park and cried bitterly, i thought you were angry for something and would come to take me back" and she started narrating

FLASHBACK

Jodha tried calling jalal multiple times, finally he lift her call, but spoke nothing

"jalal.. what happened to you??? is your anger down??? how can you tell those words??? its ok, i know you can't live away from me, i know you will start missing me within some time..."

Before she could continue her call was cut

After a while, some people came to her and was looking at her and the pic in their mobile, she got startled and looked at them in confusion, but something sparkling got her eyes and was shocked seeing knife in their hands

"Give us all your gold and money or we will kill you"

Jodha was in a secluded place of park and there was no people there, its getting some dim too

She pushed the first person towards next, took her bag and ran away, they chased her, seeing a bushy place, she hid behind those bushes

Then she heard one of them telling "shit man.. she escaped. what will we tell our master about this. our sir came to know that she is pregnant with his child, he wants to marry some other rich woman whom he loves, now he want to get rid of this girl and her unborn child, but she escaped"

Other goon was talking "too bad man, such a waste of beauty, let us kidnap her, enjoy and then finish off her after we all are satisfied, no one will lodge a complaint too, so no case too, by the way i never tasted pregnant female"

Jodha closed her ears in disgust and sobbed silently over her fate, she didn't believe that jalal would do this

"I know jalal.. he will never do this, it must be someone conspiring, but now my priority is saving kids, i am an orphan, but my kids aren't, i, their ammi will protect them against the world" she caressed her tummy, "don't worry, bacche, you ammi is there for you"

The goons searched for a while and then she ran away, she covered herself with a scarf, went to railway station, not having any destination, saw that there was a train to chennai, departure in 10 min, she brought ticket and boarded it for her hopeless future

FLASHBACK ENDS

Jalal had tears by the time she completed telling. he sobbed feeling her sadness, he cried hugging her, while jodha caressed his hairs

"I don't know what to say, even if i keep on asking your forgiveness every second, its not enough."

"Don't cry jalal, its all in past now. i need some time to think what to do next, as we were divorced..." but she was stopped by jalal

"We aren't... we aren't divorced.. i never submitted them in court, i torn and burnt them all, it was all part of my plan"

She smiled slightly hearing this

"Well, jalal.. i understand why you did this.. mm.. but.. jalal, i really need time to decide what to do further, all this is so sudden"

Jalal smiled at her "of course, take your own time, don't forgive me so easily, punish me, only then i won't repeat such mistakes, i will make it up for everything."

Jodha smiled and hugged him "thanks for understanding, you know that you are my weakness, but didn't force me.. thanks a lot jalal"

He looked at her face and kissed her forehead "jodha.. at first i thought you have married and moved forwards in life, but now i understood, you are still living as my wife, thanks jodha, thanks for trusting me, even after listening that i sent goons to kill you, you trusted me and told kids i am their abbu, you are really my angel jodhu, i will cherish your presence in my life"

Jodha smiled at him "as i used to say earlier, you are the owner of my heart, body and soul"

They hugged each other, but was soon disturbed by kids who came running

They both looked at them shocked

"aww.. ammi.. its not fair, you are only loving papa, leaving us out" said aram with hands on her hips

Jodha chuckled hearing her cute complaint and kissed her cheeks, aram too kissed jodha and lifted her arms, indicating jalal to lift her. jodha lift her up and jalal held her in his left arm, she kissed jalal's both cheeks "i love you, abbu."

Jalal smiled and kissed her back "abbu loves you too princess"

Next its salim's turn "salim loves you so much abbu, you will stay with us from now, no??? or you still have work far from us" he asked with sad voice

Jalal felt loved, kissed salim "love you too salim. no baccha, from now abbu is going to stay with you. wherever abbu goes,I will take you with them"

Aram immediately asked "ammi will also come with us, no abbu. we won't come without ammi. haina salim????" salim nodded in yes

Jalal and Jodha were shocked "of course, ammi too will come with us, she is my angel, why will i leave her" jalal asked them looking at jodha

"in our class, one boy, rahul cried saying that his dad came after 2 years and is going to take him to another new place, his father came with new mother for him, but he loves his mom" said salim

Aram nodded and said "we don't want any new ammi, we love our ammi" and they both hugged jodha

Jodha felt blessed and happy and hugged them kneeling on ground, kissed their heads, caressing their hairs and said crying in happiness "ammi loves you both too, ammi loves you people a lot"

They came out of her hug and wiped her tears, kissed her on both cheeks

Jodha made him sit on dining table and brought him breakfast, she made him kichdi as he has to take light food. Jalal made a face seeing this

Kids asked jodha to lift them, she made them sit on table.

Jodha smiled seeing his cute face and started feeding him, he made face, but ate when jodha told him its for his good, kids too wanted to feed him, they took with their small hands and fed him, they smeared over his face, but he enjoyed their pampering, kissed their little hands

Jodha laughed whole heartedly looking at their happiness

After breakfast, she gave him medicines

By the time they completed, their watchman came with a cover and handed it over to Jodha, she gave it to jalal, he looked at her in confusion, she signaled him to open it

There was iphone 11 pro in it, a few clothes for him to wear. Jalal looked at jodha surprised

"You don't have your phone...you like iphone... so.. " jalal just hugged her.

They all took pics with his phone

Suddenly jodha remembered about cake, she went to kitchen to complete her works and also prepare lunch, while kids took him to their room,

They bought their album and showed him

Salim said "ammi said that you never had time to see album, she said that you usually come at night when we were sleeping and go away by the time we woke up, she said that you are very busy person, but abbu we also miss you"

Aram nodded agreeing with her twin

Jalal kissed them "from now all abbu's time is just for you people"

Aram said "ammi too misses you, at times she speaks to your photo crying, you give her too your time"

Jalal smiled at her "as you order, my princess."

Aram giggled at it

They showed him all pics and told him their funny moments

In a pic, Jodha was carrying two kids in either arms and they were kissing her cheeks, In one pic, jodha was applying oil to aram's hair sitting on their duplex steps, while salim stood on the step above jodha and was applying hair to jodha's hair with his little hands, actually he was pilling her hairs

In all pics in background, his picture frames were hanging. He felt contended with her love for him

After a while, Jodha joined them and they chatted happily for a while, while jodha shared more incidents about them

Soon kids wanted to watch a movie with their parents. aram chose 'frozen' salim chose 'the lion king'

Finally they agreed on for 'frozen'

Jalal sat resting his back on headboard stretching his legs, jodha sat beside him cross legged, after connecting fluid to his IV line and bought popcorn as snacks. aram sat on jalal's lap, salim sat on jodha's lap, jodha wrapped her hands around salim and kissed his head, while jalal did the same to aram

They started watching movie laughing woth kids. In between, Jodha involuntarily laid her head on his shoulders. Jalal smiled looking at her, but didn't want to make her conscious, so stared back at the screen

By the time, movie finished jodha dozed off as she couldn't sleep well last night and the before day she had night duty

Salim got down from her lap, laid on bed and slept keeping his head on her lap, Jalal just wrapped her close holding her shoulders and aram too slept on his body stretching her legs on his legs, hugging his waist. Jalal kissed hers and jodha's forehead. he felt complete as a man today, soon he too closed his eyes and sleep took over him

Jodha woke up to this beautiful scene of her life, she took her phone and took a selfie, made salim lay on pillow, lifted aram from jalal and made her lay beside salim, protected one side with pillows, made jalal sleep properly disconnecting his fluid.

She cooked matar pulao for lunch as kids like it and good for jalal too, she woke them, both kids raised their arms wanted to be lifted, jalal was about to lift salim, when jodha lifted both of them, she stumbled a bit, but again managed. jalal was shocked with her strength

She sat on a chair, jalal sat beside her, salim on his lap and aram in jodha's lap. she fed all three and was eating herself too, in between kids too fed her, jalal couldn't do anything as his right arm was hurt

They became so happy when jodha gave them bread halwa after their lunch

They finished in between chit chat

Kids went to complete their homework, jodha went to complete work in kitchen and do dishes, instructing jalal to take rest

Jalal went to room and smiled fully reminiscing the happenings of the day, he wants to do something for jodha, he took his phone called someone, instructed everything and was happy because he was sure jodha will be very happy with this

He was not sleepy, went to kids and helped them with their studies, he was so happy doing this with kids, kids are happy too as their abbu is with them, after a while jodha came to them, they completed their homework by then

Kids suggested they play ludo, salim got that board with sheet, but as jalal's hand was not fine, they played in jodha's mobile teasing each other

By evening, jodha gave them milk, as usual they did their nautanki, they drank it when she showed them cake

Finally, they all sat and enjoyed cake thoroughly

Jalal was amazed seeing how jodha is easily tackling clever, energetic kids like them. He felt happy and proud

At night, jodha prepared south indian dish, dosa as kids like them, jalal too tasted it and he liked it instantly like kids, they all did some more masti. jodha was washing dishes, while kids sat on slab and was talking with her. jalal went to call his office in chennai, for which he came here, he talked to CEO.

He searched for them whole house and saw this beautiful scene. jodha and kids talking and giggling, while jodha is doing her work. his heart is swelling with pride every time they saw them together, happy. he admired them from the door

Aram observed him first and signaled him to come inside, jalal kissed their foreheads

"Jodha, tomorrow i have to go to office" jalal informed jodha

Jodha just nodded "tomorrow, we have to change bandage and see how's your wound. after that you go, ok??"

Jalal hummed in response

Soon they retired to bed, jalal and jodha on either side, kids in between, salim gave her storybook, jodha started reading and narrating to them, while kids were asking questions in between

After some time, kids and jalal fell asleep, jodha stopped when she realised their questions stopped only to see all 3 sleeping, she covered them with bedsheet, kissed kids forehead, kissed jalal's forehead too and went to her side.

She saw if moti called her, because she was trying for her from morning, but moti isn't lifting her call, she just messaged that its too hectic day and will call when there is time

As soon as jalal realized she slept, he opened his eyes and gave a sheepish grin. then he too slept thinking about the day, dreaming a new morning
