But, since he didn’t seem to be done any sooner, she had to interrupt before he blurted something he’d regret forever.

What an understanding attitude portrayed by these two even before they become one!

Returning from work every day by Seven.

No late night parties.

No liquor outside home.

No more than two shots at client parties.

Even then, no self-driving back to home.

Calling her once every three hours during the day to update on where he is, what he…

That is how it was. Whole piece. For me. Every word, every emotion, every feeling ... yes giving goosegumps to us has always been your thing, but real dhak dhak, this is my first... I have been brought to absolute still only once before, when they had first kissed.

My salient inputs are as follows -I'm glad inspector Prithvitej is getting closer to finding the culprit and his accomplice. His nimble grey cells seem to be Ob fully charged mode after the party :). From the last update we all were well aware that Jalal's delay and the no-contact moments between the two brought Jodha on edge. But you explained her helplessness, desperation and sheer despair beautifully. Gosh! It was as painful for me as it was for her :(

Jalal's knee jerk reaction was understandable, though not at all justified.

The whole scene once Jalal returns was just amazing. While his verdict had me blushing furiously, Jodha's appearance made my heart bleed.

What followed was nothing even remotely close to what I expected :)

Before Jalal was back when Jodha was ruminating on what kind of person she's become, I'd kind of imagined that she might unload a bit of her thoughts to Jalal.... The Marry Me and I Love You caught me by surprise..... And I never thought I could fall more in love with Jalal but I kept plummeting n tumbling more n more in love with him (if that's even possible :) :))
