Ustaad ride away on his handsome black horse
To meet his dear mentor like a man possessed
He had sped like wind through this very course

The tall trees that seem to touch the skies
Had not evidenced a more impressive sight
The dashing warrior with sharp arrow like eyes
And his magnificent stallion carrying the knight

A few days later a huge soldiers team
Led a retinue of our Sahiba a lady of grace
A lady who looks like a fairy of dream
Yet, a thunderstruck look clouded her face

She seemed to move on in a woeful trance
Enveloped in never ending gloom
The lush canopy and the wide wild expanse
Could sense her feeling of approaching doom

Ever since these trees have longed to see
The return of their knight and his damsel sweet
Through their own paths happy and free
The loving couple, they wished to greet

They prayed for the return of the bride and the groom
Free from the worries they carried along
They would spread green carpets and happily bloom
And their birds would sing a welcome song

Incredible!!...Sandy...
This rendition of the trees is an extraordinary idea... making them witnesses...😳

Anna's Hummingbird or Surakav...This Bird changes colour with every turn...ie
When the sun's rays fall on the feathers, at each layer some sunlight bounces off and some goes through the layer but bounces off the next layer.

The various places sun's rays bounces combine together to block out some colours and make others more intense, depending on direction
This means that, if you look at the feather from where the green eye is, you'd see mostly green. If you looked at this feather from where the purple eye is, you'd see mostly purple. It is really amazing amazing to witness the bird and no doubt, onlookers are mesmerized by this stunning effect of color.

This bird is sold for a whopping 25 lakhs rupees...

Good Morning BinduP 🤗 A positively great GM greeting. 👏 👏

Good Evening, Afternoon & Good Morning to all B&B's 🤗 🤗

Congratulations Lashy &,Sahiba's for the new home !!!

Just finished doing the HW from the last thread and overwhelmed with all your caring words & prayers for my dear departed friend. We bid our final farewell earlier today with heavy hearts. Though the last rites were per Hindu traditions the fact that there was multi faith representatives with their prayers said a lot for what she stood for. She was an Interfaith Co-ordinator for her local Sai center of which she was actively involved almost until the end of last month.

Lashy, P'amma, Kausi, Selvi, Lavanya, Rose, BinduP, Manu, Rekha, Bond, Rashmi, Mitu - A big thanks for your caring & uplifting words on posts here & on WA. Hope I have not missed anyone's name.

My belated Birthday wishes to Mr. Lashy & Rashmi. Mina Kutty celebrated her first!

Rekha you had to ditch the car for last weeks freek snowfall. We too felt the effects of the first flakes on that day which came down hard - reality check that old man winter is here now - a bit earlier than the recent norm. Loved your problem solving chart!

Sandy - poem on Matterhorn was superb!

Selvi - that railway pic on the viaduct reminded me of the train trip we did in SL recently & the visit to the 9 Arch bridge waiting for the train to show up while sipping a Guava shake! Sweet memories!
Also loved the snuggling lion/lioness pic !

Kausi - GM greetings of our dear BinduP with your HBAS takes - superb

And now for the update - C55
Lashy - I only did one quick read. In short a chapter just like the past few days I've had - with heart wrenching lows & some uplifting highs !!!
Will be back tomorrow after a quiet read & do the rest of the HW.

Have a great day Sahiba's!! GN
