If I had the power to turn back the time sands

Go back to that house at the top of glistening green lands

The shelter, the mansion that I'd once temporarily borrowed

I'd treasure it as a home now, far more than I did a month ago

If I could be back there, in the warmth of my Begum's throe

And hear once again all the words she whispered by that orange glow

I'd listen to her whispers like I've never listened before

I admit, I had not envisioned the perpetual darkness my fate would have in store

For the chance I once had, oh what I'd give

The unseen smiles and unspoken emotions, I daily relive

A bit more joy for my mates, my Chachajaan; I'd shield them from a bit more pain

I'd ensure a little more sunshine in their lives, and a little less rain

But time rolls on and we cannot go back

Neither to my Parnagarhi mansion, nor to my Aidabadi shack

But now that I have awoken, now that the hour for the duel approaches near

I will continue to fight, rip my back off the floor if I must, to try save the ones I hold dear!

Awww he knows how much they love him... but, I guess even he undermined the extent they would go to, for him!
