Heera's recollection was so dreamy, the edit dreamier - these two alone have made C54 a most welcome early Deepavali treat!

So we have Azeez and Bahadur on a mission to get the ingredients, the scroll to the Shehenshah well on its way, Heera having a trick up her sleeve, planning to meet the Huzoor to get Akbar's birthday blessings , AMK being looked after by a good Samaritan- major happenings that rocked C54.👍🏼

'It's happening again...' He reminded his lungs to rise slow and deep. But the air whisking in and out of his mouth was fast and shallow. His eyelids would neither open, nor shut. And in spite of him being stuck in the darkest void of midnight, the colours of the palatial surroundings grew clearer, as if a hundred lamps had just been lit. Grey paintings returning to their original gold selves. Grey floors revealing their marbled patterns. And grey walls turning white again. The sentinel standing guard outside noticed none of this though. Why would they? For it was a nightmare of his own making.

Exactly five pounding beats later, she appeared - her arrival announced by the tinkling of anklets, and clinking of bangles, as always. What used to be the occasional visit had steadily become a lot more common of late - her fair form dropping by every night. And with each passing visit, the painting that was her face grew more vivid, more beautiful. So beautiful that it smothered him breathless.
