I take it, it rarely dips this low... so, do you have central heating? 😲Oh my God, I hope you do...
Keep warm, Periyamma... I can understand that being used to heat for most of the year, these freezing temperatures might not be comfortable at all🤗

Will keep all your pointers in mind...👍🏼 thanks🤗

Do you know where you are flying in to from Seattle? If in Montana, just giving you a heads up, that state is very, how do I say it, still a racist state! The people are all red necks and prefer to see a similar population in and around them. 🤔 There is nothing much to see in Montana other than huge plains and mountainous roads and ranges...it is nicknamed Big Sky Country.

If you are flying into Idaho and driving from there, then it is fine! You will be entering through the West Entrance. You can drive from Wyoming as well, it will be the South Entrance, but it all depends where you are landing! 😊

Oh, and you can drive up north for 3 hours and be in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and 3 hours drive down south to Portland, Oregon! 😃 Both pretty as a picture postcard! I call the North West, Switzerland of the USA. 😃

Will surely try this restaurant out!!!! The menu card - wasn't anyone wondering why you were taking pics of each sleeve of the menu too?😆

First of all, I went in around 3 pm or so, it was in between lunch and dinner and so was pretty empty! And secondly chatted up with the guy and told him how I drove 30 miles to eat at that place. I even suggested him to open up in our area and he said he will talk to the franchise! 😆 He was so happy to see I loved the food and even packed some for me! 😃
So taking some pictures was easy! 😉

Lana - The extravagance in Doha does put the next host in a dilemma. Canada is part of the 2026 venue & hope that all levels of government will be cautious.

Lashy - That snippet on Doha's construction woes for FIFA venue's is distressing. Whenever such huge games like the Olympics venue's are selected there is a time constraint for having the place ready. Hope the authorities monitor closely & avoid harm for the migrant workers.

Lashy since you will be traveling to one of my favorite city, please go visit some highlights of Seattle and Washington.

The Space Needle in downtown, you will get a 360-degree view of the city, Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, Mount Olympic, Lake Washington and the Downtown.

Puget Sound to see the port and harbour with huge cruise ships coming and leaving. There are lots of cargo ships as well. You can see the Bainbridge island from there and will see the ferry going back and forth.

Pike Place Market in the port area, with a huge market for seafood and fish, fantastic restaurants, shopping places etc.

Downtown tour with monorail from the Space Needle itself to downtown and back.

Mount Rainier, its an hour long drive from Seattle but roads are fantastic all the way near the top of the mountain. I am sure you will still find the peak covered in snow.

Mount St. Helens, the dormant volcano 2 hours south of Seattle, worth a visit for sure.

Snoqualmie Falls in the east of Seattle, another 1 hours drive or so, pretty sight and good hike down and up.

Ferry or boat ride on Lake Washington and you will see the beautiful house of Bill Gates as well!

And go eat in Inchins, either in Bellevue or Redmond! 😃

Lana - I have done some of the Seattle highlights you mentioned here & love the mountain scenes.
Mt. Rainier is so visible from the suburbs & stands out when you fly in when you come from the east. .

Inchins Menu looks great. I don't think they have their franchises here. I too love the Chinese food.
Are they Hakka style ? Your pics did look very yummy !

Ok time for my Good Night !

Have a great Monday friends !
