Azeez was with AMK, when they arrived at the capital na...😳

Ibrahim, Sayyid, Bajrang, Daya - all of them have to wait outside palace gates... it's sorta understood that they wouldn't be allowed inside the palace gates...

Anyway, Heera was too numb to wish them farewell etc... Plus we've had plenty of insight into their feelings and thoughts previous chapter so didn't mention anyone but Gauri😳

Only thing, I wouldn't call Shehzaade the hero of this chapter because that'd undermine what AMK truly is... All of the characteristics that you've listed below, AMK has in abundance - and yet enough humility & insight not to allow ego dictate him and his actions when judging others/his own men etc - (which the Shehzaade sorely lacks)

Instead, I'd say Shehzaade had the most 'interesting' parts - simply because one could never guess what his next emotion or move would be! I.e. Unpredictable...

Btw, Shehzaade watching Heera kneel and beg and plead, was purely to get his fanatical thirst for his vendetta against a 'Hindu' girl quenched , which both Heera & AMK had guessed...

The rest of it, of course, he was trying to be fair to someone he truly cared for...
1) Appointing FS because he cares for AMK (it's been explicitly mentioned)
2) Even as he's getting annoyed with AMK's vagueness/aggression etc, he knows that it'd have been Khalil who would've said things to instigate AMK (Even at the end, his approach towards both is starkly different)
3) He doesn't blindly trust FS and makes his own decision.
Shehzaade's undoing is his special harshness in dealing with AMK - purely to satiate his own hurting ego!

Lashy I agree with you word for word! To me, Shehzade lost his backbone of honor in this chapter! I will give him only this, he is unaware about FS in cahoots with Khalil because he is blinded by his inflated ego of being ditched by AMK over his Begum Sahiba!

The way AMK deduced everything being in the same room about FS and later his alliance with Khalil, FS's evil maneuvers over Shehzade, his innumerable attempts to prove AMK has lost his mind...all these were clearly evident to AMK but being his mentor Shehzade had no clue that he was being played upon by an evil force!

He didn't think or wanted to ponder upon the questions or logic AMK asked him, he was stumped when faced with these questions. Maybe he did not want to think about those logical questions or scenarios. Again he was so hurt by AMK's one mistake that he can't rise above that hurt! Yes, being a narcissist one tends to be thinking only from their POV!

It was almost a sadistic pleasure he had when he saw Heera unveiling and kneeling down begging for her husband's life! His ego was satisfied not only seeing a Hindu girl kneeling down and begging but also a harsh reminder to AMK that the person you chose over me is right now kneeling before me begging for your life! And He kept looking at her not even saying a word!

At that precise moment not only I wept for Heera and her dishonor in front of those vultures sniggering and cackling but also imagining the face of AMK, the battering his pride got seeing his Heera like that! I can see his jawline clench and unclench in disgust, anger, hurt, debilitated pride and when he asked her to get up it came so slowly, calmly, unflinchingly, quietly and yet his insides were facing a raging tempest! He is the Lion for me, when he showed Khalil who the real warrior is with his one iron grip, which took quite a few guards to free him or even at this precise moment he is trying his level best to keep his 'pride' safe making sure, his Begum Sahiba, her people, his men all are safe while he himself is taking the brunt of Shehzade's wrath!

The way he poignantly told Shehzade if it were him he would have listened the victim out made Shehzade see reason but to what purpose? One night to prove his innocence in the court while still chained in shackles, away from the outside world, unable to prove himself or do anything to protect himself! Again such a sadistic move! He knows AMK can turn the world upside down in one night and can prove him wrong and so he made sure he is left in the dungeon unable to do so! This shows AMK's worth and Shehzade's meanness!

And all along I get it Shehzade wanted AMK to admit the truth, his lying or rather concealing the fact from him is getting to his nerve and ego but really, I too asked this question that AMK asked him, what bad happened to Shehzade for his concealing the fact? Did the Shehzade lose anything? Any retribution? AMK didn't have any personal vendetta against him, no secret motive to oust him from claiming the throne, even with his ego the Prince can guess and see AMK did what he did out of love for the girl he fell for! There are so many vicious crimes that go around people conspiring to kill the Prince to get the throne whereas compared to that here his best man concealed something to protect his wife but also making sure no harm comes to his Huzoor! Go figure!

That man needs to be shaken up, should get a rude awakening to see what he is losing by losing AMK as his right-hand man and by surrounding himself with the likes of FS and Khalil! To me, it just looked like he was being adamant in not looking to the truth with a clear glass, instead, he is choosing deliberately to see through an opaque object! He is refusing to look at the truth as pointed so many times by AMK but is pondering on the issue of AMK not coming through clean! Then my question will be, if AMK had revealed what he had actually done, would the Prince have let it go Would he have forgiven him? Would he have let Heera go freely? Would he have given permission to AMK to marry Heera? I want AMK to ask these barrage of questions to him as well provided he is not shut off like he was.

Shehzade has been selfish and always will be, he was 'matlabi' and will always be, he was a narcissist and will always be and I don't think his POV will change anytime soon unless something drastic happens that will open his eyes for the better. What he is refusing to look at now, when forced to look under dire circumstances, his views will change but with difficulty, he will have to swallow his pride and ego to let go of AMK from the shackles!

Only my view, others might vary! 😊
