Ok Lashy finally I got time to pen down my thoughts on C48!
I had requested you to give us the C48 update before you leave for India, so we can bask in it, but unfortunately, I couldn't do that. As I started reading I felt sick to my stomach, I had to read the second part again right away to see if I am reading it right! Farooq has joined the villain group now 😲, didn't expect that at all. We all know why Khalil and Mahendar wants revenge on AMK and Heera, yet to find out Farooq's reasons!
Khalil's reasons for revenge is AMK hurt his shoulder badly and made it unusable (C28), he was humiliated in front of his own men, and AMK's, this assignment was his but taken back and given to AMK now.
Mahendar, well he has an extensive list of reasons: Durga Bhai, Parnagarh, Heera and of course AMK.
They both are jealous of AMK! He is the Ustaad, he is the Shezaade's army, has a legitimate horse trading business, and now he is the mansabdar of Parnagarh! And top of it all Heera is his wife!
AMK left to the capital with the knowledge of Mahendar visiting the Prince and messenger from the safehouse meeting with Mahendar. He is yet to find out about Farooq being appointed by the Prince to check up on him!
Somehow this comes to my mind: Samudra manthan (churning of the ocean of milk): After releasing number of things, the ocean releases the lethal poison which then Lord Shiva consumes it to save the Universe. In the end comes the nectar! AMK must swallow the poisons that is coming his way, so he can get to the nectar which he can distribute it to his men, people of Parnagarh and of course his love, Heera!
I don't have to mention about AMK's feelings towards his men, he is so compassionate, caring, sensitive, sympathetic towards one's feelings. He has lost eight members whom he recruited and trained, hopefully he will not lose anymore!
This has become very personal to me now, it is as though I am there in every scene as an invisible being, listening/watching as the scenes unfold.
I am generally an emotional person, reading the last part was extremely difficult and literally had tears in my eyes! Didn't want to read the last part to be honest, but I did. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it was for Heera to not cry in front of her love/soulmate! She has promised herself that she will not become a weak link in his endeavors. She sincerely apologizes to AMK for putting him/them in this situation. It is even harder for AMK to leave Heera in this state not knowing when he will return, if he will return 😕😭
I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, it will be a painful journey through the tunnel which we have just begun.
"Don't...don't look at me that way, my love...don't tame my anger... to me this is the best phrase in this chapter! He conveys this through his eyes and she responds with a nod! How well they read each other's minds, true soul mates they are!
