Yesterday here in a local High school website in FB there was a threat saying Stoneman Douglas scene to be repeated tomorrow. The parents were beyond worry, the campus was full of cops and security and luckily everything was fine but it has become a joke. I don't know who did that and for what reasons but definitely will not want to see anything like what happened in FL. In our school, the Principal called for an emergency lockdown drill and all my kids were shivering and going bonkers over the whole issue!! What has life come to??

And here our President wants to arm the teachers now!! 🤔 Seriously, on top of lesson planning, teaching and educating, meeting with parents, answering to district personnel, facing behaviours from my special kids, attending to meltdowns and getting things back to normal...we have to learn to arm ourselves?? For what? To be on the same footing as a crazy madman to shoot back?? This is ridiculous!!
