He only asked... 'Not even out of love?'
And she couldn't answer...

So, it's a case of -
he didn't tell.
She didn't tell.

Aunty beautiful pictures and verses!! 👏👍🏼 Loved it!

You stole my heart the very first day
when I looked into your hazel wonder,
Your partial sight in straight voice
made my heart partial to you and ponder!
I knew it was not possible but -
I lost myself in your eyes and charms,
I controlled myself and looked away,
but I knew I craved to be in your arms!
I know I forced you into matrimony,
but I had no choice left to save your life,
I know you detested me then but
that is the only way I could make you my wife!
I am happy today you are fully mine,
Join in this beautiful journey with me,
Cherish, enjoy and spoil me in love,
Heera...my dear, I am all yours, you see!

Those 4 dams you took and the tricks -
you played in returning those dams to me!
You captured my heart in style for good
And I just floated in love uncontrollably for thee!
Yes, I married you not knowing the true story
And I thought you betrayed me in every way!
I thought you had a hand in my sister's demise
And You took the 'farmaan' to save your day!
Only now I know what you underwent,
To save my life and honour from the evil forces,
I know what pain you yourself faced,
In your childhood, from your very own sources!
I will accompany on that journey with you,
Happily My Sahib, in every step, hand in hand,
I want to be enveloped in your Love and passion,
A wife in every respect, that is where I stand!

Both of the poems are so beautiful
Loved it aunty and Lana dii

Keeping warm in Medieval times.

Mughal hand warmers 16th/17th Century - They were primarily used to burn incense.

A Persian brass openwork hand warmer from the 19th century. Decorated with birds and floral motifs. Inside is a gyroscopic devise to always keep the flame right side up. Such incense burners of spherical shape lack suspension loops and probably rested on the floor to diffuse their perfume throughout a room.

Coal burner/Sigdi/Sikhdi

Oriental hand warmers

Ancient Oriental hand warmers, made of bronze or ceramics, had a variety of designs. Round, square and octagonal shapes were typical, with some fashioned to look like pumpkins, flowers and turtle shells.

The devices had burning coals or charcoal inside. Some coals were blended with fragrances and pressed into flower shapes. They were carried while travelling, to keep warm.

Bed Warmers

A bed warmer was a common household item in countries with cold winters, especially in Europe. It consisted of a metal container, usually fitted with a handle and shaped somewhat like a modern frying pan, with a solid or finely perforated lid. The pan would be filled with river stones preheated from the fireplace and placed under the covers of a bed, to warm it up and/or dry it out before use.

Wow
I only knew about the coal burners and bed warmers
Thanks for sharing lashy di
