Good afternoon, Sahibas! 🤗

It is update day- so nothing follows the norm!😆

Came online this morning - saw the update up and everything went haywire. Did not do any HW and went straight to the update.😃

The prelude to the chapter - the picture of AMK stroking her fingers- itself sent warm vibes , making the reader ponder on the wonder of the upcoming update.😳

After reading this chapter, I am tempted to have my class debate on the topic - The pros and cons of binoculars!😉

The thrilling events at the Mansabdar's chamber- pure reading pleasure. ☺️

How Heera knows which of his buttons to push to get her way, the personal board games ( have never come across such an analogy- brilliant) they played, his blurting out that she knows little of his past which led to Heera undertaking the task of getting some answers from two of his most-trusted men.😊

And AMK is still in Parnagarh!😲

Wondering of the dire consequences of this revelation when AMK gets wind of it.

Chapter 42

The Story goes thus...

"Breathtaking!"

Knowingly or unknowingly the author

Suggested the apt title for her chapter

It is really "breathtaking", to say the least

Penned with the style that is always her best.

A centre theme for Baisas' "Take five" on "breathtaking"

And the follow up comments with imaginations wild running.

The author, with her magical wand has designed the chapter

That delights the readers with its wonderful rapture.

She playfully uses the 'funny lens' gifted by him

Enjoying the distant scenes with joy filled to the brim

By chance she glimpses his room where he gets ready

To go on a mission which he decided already

But there he is in two minds to carry out his mission

Since it is concerned with her secret messengers in question

He has to take a decision , perhaps on every occasion

Setting aside his dilemma, not giving room to passion..

She meets him in his chamber on his invite

The news she hears from him doesn't give her any delight

She begs for another chance to free her messengers

Very tactfully convincing him that she is their well-wisher

What follows next is a treat hosted by the author

He guesses that she knew about his assignment earlier

And she saw him getting ready, using her binoculars

The next are some intimate moments between them

That speak of the love that is growing between them

He takes leave of her and wants her to wish him success

She feels the invisible wall between them still has remnants

" Any soldier's wife would wish him luck when he leaves on errand

But I cannot be like 'any' wife , can I ?" she opens her mind

He tries to convince her about his loyalty to his master

Slipping a few words about the shehzaadi by whom he was fostered

She becomes curious to know about his past

Meets Chachajaan and his friends at last

Learns from him about his painful past that made him lead a life aloof

And how ' he even went against Huzoor to keep her safe!'

She couldn't trust what she has heard about his mother

Who lives comfortably elsewhere without any bother

Thus finally the author has let the cat out of the bag

Giving rise to expectations by the readers without any snag!

So we will wait for the next chapter very eagerly

Hoping to read it not very late but early

I'm at the point of reading these lines right now & what sweet surprise to see the banner picture coming to life as the lines unfolded. I had to stop & look at the pic , send you a note before going back to read the rest of it.
