I was walking by Central London last evening... shopping for the Christmas season... with all the sparkling lights on... there was a sudden chill in the air... I was wondering if it was because it is cold here ... 1 degree it is, after all...and then I stopped by the window of a bookshop... it wasn't too busy... but it wasn't empty either... and there I peeked in to catch the array of Bestsellers they had on the shelves...

And guess what I saw...

I dashed in straightaway, picked a fresh book from the rack and handed my money to the cashier...

and that's what I've been busy with, since yesterday

Happy Birthday darling... a dream of yours I tried to make come true for a few minutes in my own small way.. .but, I hope this birthday makes all your dreams come true... both, big and small!

My armour is harder than most,

It's forged from things tested over a period of time.

It has scratches and dents,

It does not shine.

The horse I ride is not a beautifully groomed white,

It is black and was chosen by me in the darkness of night.

With my armour and horse, I will never back down,

they can withstand more than most even when on the ground.

I'm not your gentlemanly knight in shining armour

or a prince on a white horse,

Those type of men

would not be able to stay my course!

However, I am YOUR warrior

and I have the cuts and scars to show.

I forged my armour and chose my horse to protect both me and YOU.

And that is the one thing for sure I know.

Wooo Di! You know when I was going through your post I was really a bit confused about what is happening. Then I thought maybe there is really any book of same name which you have really come across. Then after seeing the edit I understood! 😆 😆

No word to thank you for such an unique wish Di! Really a ideal dream moment for me that you have foresaw and captured. Maybe it is only a dream, but I relished it so much!!😳

Thank you sooo much everyone for making my birthday special! I cherished each and every line of your birthday-wishes which gave me the feel of your love and blessings. Thank you so so so much... especially Manu, thank you for compiling the pieces of these lovely wishes from everyone and present it to me. 🤗 One of the best gifts I get in my birthdays...😳
