You can speak. I thought you were mute 🤣
Yes!!
Maybe you are right!! I am not this chatty/open with friends /relatives just with my family ... Very very quiet in front of strangers even when they are my age. I take time to open up...When we moved here few years ago, our neighbour with her daughter (now my friend) used to visit us. I used to simply open the door with a smile, offer her seat quickly go inside to call my mother. This went for a while. One day my mother wasn't at home. When Aunty came I said 'Ma ghar pe nahi hai'... She was 😲 you can speak. I thought you were mute 🤣

😆Kuki, we can't have you going the THUD way, too! Then who will be standing to rebut the grandiose claims of our resident Sahib soother? 😉
😆 Yes... we must show them THIS Cookie...Btw, remember the convo we once had? Later on... one day... imagine you meet some random dude somewhere called 'Azeez'... would you be able to say a 'hello' with a straightface?I know I wouldn't 😆>>>yes yes I remember 😆Forget straight face... I would end up 🤣 and he would goI shall let Chellam answer this 🤣
That's how I also used to do... 😲 I first smile and then answer in one word for all their question and then remains quiet. 😲
Rosejaan, forming a pact is different from scheming 😡
Thanks Lashy Sahiba for the (NJAPA) explanation. I mentioned this once before, I love NJAPA ( who doesn't ?) but all those parts when they were suffering being apart ( as well as when she was physically tortured by that maniac ) really teared me up and I can't bring myself to go for a second read of those scenes. 😭
Truth be told , I must have read the epilogue more times than I can count, compared to the rest of the chapters.
I've been meaning to get to this since forever... but just kept forgetting...>>>😆Pallu... I don't know if you've noticed one thing... the lead characters in all my stories have a healthy dose of ego. Be it Jalal, Jodha, AMK or Heera. While they are intelligent, can understand each other well, don't misread/misunderstand one another etc etc... they are also not doormats and will put their foot down when the time comes. I.e. they have a spine and mutual respect is important for them.Heera might be deeply in love with AMK's aura... but, she does/will take her time to forgive/understand him... similarly, AMK's heart and soul is Heera. But he would never allow her to disrespect him.In NJAPA, Jalal loved Jodha to the moon and back. However, the manner in which she shut him out of her life hurt him incredibly. He knew something was up. He tried reasoning with her twice. But his ego found it difficult to forgo anymore self-respect and beg her to talk to him beyond that. Moreover, Jodha knew that was how he was - which was precisely why she used that tactic to keep him away in the first place. All said and done, had it progressed to a Jodha-Rishabh wedding in NJAPA in the end - Jalal would have made one strong Jalalian attempt to get her back (he hints at it to Renu in the terrace, when she asks him the same question). Of course, it never reached that stage.Pallu, call it the faults of my characters or their quirks - but that's how they are! And I think my characters have all turned out that way because I am tired of how they are constantly portrayed on screen -The men start off as bad boys with big egos manhandling the girls etc... and finally end up becoming absolute doormats to their wives, through a hundred different misunderstandings. In turn, the women become doormats to their in laws!😆Hope that explained it😳

>>>Exactly! I have read those scenes just once... Was so scared, my hands were literally shaking, couldn't sleep that night . Thank God, I did not have to wait for next chapters.. Else I don't know...
