I think this is the Udaipur palace? It's definitely a place in Rajasthan though comes up in their tourism website!

Lashy I knew it! You know a secret I feel in some previous birth of mine I must have been born in England! I have a weak spot for that country's literature, landscapes, history, culture, palaces, gardens and forts! That lush green can't be found anywhere! That looked too amazing!

And no mystery at all, my favorite novelist of all time is also an English woman, Jane Austen! That is why I am always on a look out for Mr. Darcy, severely suffer from the syndrome! 😆

The Mount Abu and Jaipur fort picture are beautiful! 👍🏼

Of course not. I did like the chapter very much. But as i said a lot of it was on predictable lines. I had expected the thoughts, actions and reactions ditto. 😔 The Lashy Special touch that makes one startle and sit up, drool and chuckle and dream about, wince and rage was only slight.

In the wedding proceeds, These lines were perfect.

'Thank you Allah...' whispered Akbar, when the Imam returned to announce his bride's decision 'Thank you...' he smiled again, the softness of his smile masking the flurry of emotions that'd erupted within.
1. Satisfaction that nothing went wrong in the last moments in his plans.
2. Relief that Heera was safe finally.
3. Elation that the lady who first captured his imagination and heart was his now.
4. Joy that he was finally wedded to his love.
5. Sadness that what he had wanted had happened but not the way he would have wanted it to.
6. Thrill at the anticipation of closeness to her, though not physically as of now.
7. A sense of belonging.
Responding to the news with a nod, he thus displayed acceptance of his new wife - into his home, his heart and his life.

Lashy, you know one thing I will look forward to in the story in future, not now, is Heera's witnessing the scars and burns on AMK's body and enquiring about them and though as difficult as it might be for him to reveal the pains and torments but nevertheless, his unlocking his traumatic past to her will in turn, heal him as well. Heera too will know what, why and how he became Ustaad AMK and why he is what he is today.

As I said it has to come much later in the story when they will be much mentally closer and comfortable enough to share these pains and struggles with each other, something like the interaction in the meadow scene of Aidabad.

Also, I have meant to ask so many times before, but forgot, who is the guy next to AMK in the HBAS banner? Khalil or Shehzaade?
