I know that the wedding customs are same per se... at least most of them... but major difference in story, I guess is that here both are already in love, and he's doing this like a true knight in shining armour for her sake... so that sort of distinguishes it from the serial...

Imagine yaar.. I wanted to keep the wedding short.. but as I was writing his inner thoughts, her inner thoughts, people's reactions and the changes in Parnagarh... I couldn't make it shorter than this... or it might be rushed...

you know... his quiet reaction to the ladies' jokes reminded me of his quiet reaction to the guys teasing him about finding a Sahiba - in one of the earlier chapters... only this time, there was a smile because it was true!
