Amar Singh's death is affecting Jalal badly. Jalal is facing a great dilemma - the throne or his love? By any means, it would seem that Jalal is willing to forsake all for Jodha. For her alone, he remained in Surajgarh even when his enemies were closing in on him nor did he join Omar and Amar Singh on the battlefield when they were fighting his cause. He is also willing to forgo the luxuries of a royal life and live in a deserted town with his angel.

But as the saying goes, one cannot live on love alone , hence, Jalal has to make some tough decisions. Surajgarh is in danger of being annihilated - if that happens Jalal's future will hang in the balance.
