AkDha OS- New Beginning....

Jalal was already reeling from the DEK events where jodha had won the chess competition which had made him awe about her hunar, it wouldn't have been said as wonderment but definitely he had been affected by her win since his BEK who always considered herself invincible in the game of chess, had now been left red faced out of humiliation of losing the game of chess right in front of the public.

A soft smile lit up his face but then the next moment it vanished when he recalled her refusal of accepting the farman issued for her being declared the winner that bruised his ego, instantly anger ripped through him. He decided to avenge for the humiliation in his own way and an evil smirk crept on his lips.

Deewane e Aaam...

The DEA had been fully occupied by his awam, his courtiers, while the royal ladies had been waiting for his arrival behind the curtains, among which jodha who silently stood watching adham khan bringing a couple and their child before the emperor.

Just in a moment the announcement echoed the DEA of jalal's arrival, where he royally appeared in front of all his awam and positioned himself on his royal seat. His dynamic personality had left everyone in admiration. All hailed his name, but his face bore a serious look.

In an earnest voice he said, "Fariyaadi ko pesh kiya jaaye".(english: the complainant should be made to appear)

The man stood right in front of jalal with hands joined he said, "Hume insaaf chahiye, iss sultanate me shenshah sirf ek hai per kaiyde kanoon alag alag, hum iss sultanate ke hai fir hume humara dharam parivataran karne ke liye kyun sataya ja raha hai? Me kar chukata hoon koi guna nahi kiya hai mene".(english: We want justice, in this sultanate there is only 1 emperor but different laws, we belong to this sultanate but y are we being harassed to change our religion.)

His accusation, his questions had brought a clear disrespect to the emperor who seemed to have got agitated with this gesture, while one of the minister who seemed to have got wild with this man couldn't control his emotions and said in a loud voice, "Gustakh, shenshah ke saamne tameez se baat karna nahi jaanta, sipayiyon isse yaha se le jao aur kaid khane me daldo". (english: Gustakh, dont you know the manners of how to behave in front of the emperor, soldiers, take him and put him in the prison.)

Jodha was shocked with this kind of attitude, her eyes wide open as she stared at jalal whose temper had only seemed to be rising with every passing time.

The man was taken as prisoner whilst, his wife advanced further and cried out, "Aap aisa nahi kar sakte galat kya kaha unhone,niyam raja aur praja ki liye toh ek hi hote hai aur fir apne bhi toh ek hindu rajkumari se bhya kiya hai aapne toh unka dharma badalne ke liye unhe majhboor toh nahi kiya fir aap hume kyun majhboor kar rahe hai?" (english: You cant do like this,what wrong did he do, the laws should be same for both the emperor and the subjects and you too have married a hindu princess and never forced her to change her religion then y r u forcing us to change our religion?)

Not able to withstand the further accusations from the lady, jalal's anger shot to the umpteen level and in a rage he stood up and roared, "Deewan e Aam pe fariyaad rakhne ki ijazat milne ka matlab ye nahi hai ki tum gustakhi kar baitho, ek shenshah ke faisle pe sawaal uthake tumne gunha kiya hai aur tumhe iski sazaa zaroor milegi aur tumhari sazaa ye hai ki isse bhi kaid khana me daala jaayega". (english: in DEA if u r allowed to place ur grievance that doesnt mean u make a mistake( no idea fr d word used for gustakh)😕 u have committed a grave mistake and so u will get the punishment and ur punishment is that she too will be put into the prison).

His judgment might have not surprised all given to the fact that jalal had always been cruel in his verdict but then it definitely had an impact on jodha who looked in utter dismay, her countenance bore the marks of pain and with a low voice and teary eyes she said to moti, "Kitna badha anyaay ho raha hai yaha pe jo log sahaayta maangne aaye the unhe hi kaaraagar me daala gaya, uss nanhe se bache per bhi daya nahi aayi shenshah ko" and glared at jalal. (english: Such a big injustice is taking place here the people who come with their complaints are put behind the bars, even the young boy couldnt melt the heart of this emperor?)

The lady was taken as prisoner by the soldiers who seemed to be pleading to jalal but then it had fallen on deaf ears as she left behind a young boy who looked lost and confused as to what was his next venture and doubting about his future.

Jodha couldn't bear this injustice happening right in front of her eyes as it was unbearable for her to see a young boy left as orphaned to live his life all alone, even when his parents were very much alive only difference was that they had been put behind the bars for the reasons of having dared to raise a voice openly against the emperor.

"Chalo, moti yaha hume aur ek kshana bhi nahi rukhna hai" (english: Come, moti ,i do not want to stay here for a moment also.) saying so she was about to leave when moti stopped her and said, "Rukho jodha, dekhte hai iss bache ka kya faisla lete hai shenshah".(english: Wait, jodha let us see what verdict the emperor passes for the young boy.)

On moti's request jodha stopped and watched how the things would turn out to be for that young boy who with hands joining asked, "Mere liye kya aadesh hai aapka?" (english: What is your command for me?)

Jalal who was leaving was stopped on hearing the young boy's voice and turned to reply him. Silence engulfed the ambiance as all seemed to be taken by surprise with the boy's question.

Jalal stood still for a second, after which he decided to reply to the boy and approached him personally and said, "Sazaa sirf unhe di jaati hai jin hone guna kiya hai isiliye tum ghar ja sakte ho". (english: Punishment is given for those who commit a crime you can go home.)

The boy said, "Kaisa ghar shenshah, aapke sipayiyone toh humara ghar cheen liya hai, dharti pe toh raja ishwar ka roop hota hai na toh fir aapne toh humara sab kuch cheen liya hai abh humare pass kuch nahi raha abh hum kiske pass jayenge kaha rahenge?" (english: What house shenshah, your soldiers snatched our house and everything, a king is d reflection of god on earth and now i dont have anything with me where will i go? where will i stay?)

These painful words were enough for jalal to recall his past, his agonizing past where he was made to stay away from his parents especially when he wanted his mother nearby and he missed her the most.

All his traumatic memories unrolled in front of his eyes and he saw his own reflection in this boy. Tears welled up in his eyes, being an emperor he had no rights to show his weakness openly but then in such a situation where in his past would come up and hover right in front of him he couldn't refrain himself and in a flow of emotions he just hugged the young boy.

All seemed to have taken by surprise, as all were new to this side of jalal and couldn't believe their eyes so as to what they had seen had left everyone amazed and baffled.

Among them, the new begum, jodha who was left aghast seeing jalal's soft side, as she knew him to be heartless but did he really was heartless? For a moment she was speechless, seeing the entire incident that had occurred in front of her eyes.

Jalal whilst hugging the boy he ordered his soldiers, "Iske walidain ko riha kiya jaaye, iska ghar, sab kuch lauta diya jaaye". (english: His parents should be released and his house everything should be returned back.)

He departed his hug and left but not before uttering the parting words, "Ek walidain ki eimiyat kya hoti hai woh humse pooche, unke bina puri duniya fateh kar sakte hai per woh insaan andhar se akela mehsoos karta hai". (english: What is the importance of a parent one should ask me, without them he might conquer the entire world but he feels lonely within.)

He spoke to the young boy, "Tumhare walidain se kehna ki bhale hi badshah ne unhe sazaa di ho per khuda ke bande ne unhe mauf kar diya hai" (english: You tell your parents that even if the emperor had punished them but the follower of god forgiven them).saying so he leaves behind a happy and joyful boy who seemed to have been overwhelmed by this gesture of the emperor.

Jodha was mum on these ongoing occurrences and simply left with whole lot of questions hovering in her mind.

At night...

She stood near the window whilst rolling a lock of hair, as she recalled the entire scenario that had taken place in DEA in the morning, the couple being punished and the young boy's innocent questions and the scene where jalal had hugged the young boy who looked vulnerable at that moment and ordered the release of his parents everything seemed to have flashed in front of her eyes.

She seemed to be in daze, a lot had happened in few hours that had changed her way of thinking about her emperor husband jalal she knew him to be heartless but when she saw the tears in his eyes, his pitiable state of mind on seeing the boy, had left her in utter confusion she couldn't come up to any strong belief as the mere tears indicated the presence of heart but the way he had put up a faade of being heartless to the world had mystified her.

She recalled that heartless jalal because of whom she had to marry him, where her fianc Suryabhan with whom she had dreamt of leading a beautiful life in near future, was been brutally killed by Sharif crushing all her hopes in a moment.

The second shock she had to undergo was when her father had fixed her wedding with this same jalal whose head she had pledged for and now to save her brothers and foremost for saving her motherland Amer she was forced to accept this marriage.

She had never been told about this alliance but the fate had planned everything for her and so during the muh deekhayi time she had for the first time seen his reflection in the waters and recalled seeing the same reflection in the pool during gangaur while placing the diyas in the water.

She was compelled to sacrifice her life for the sake of Amer which is when she had come up with the idea of placing two conditions in front of jalal as she was sure off her idea working very well as jalal would never agree with her conditions.

But then her fate was bind to him and so her last ray of hope was crushed that very moment when jalal had accepted her conditions of building kanha's temple in agra and allowed her to practice her faith.

Within no time the wedding day had come, for any girl the wedding is always the most precious moments in her life since it was once in a life time moment but then here none looked happy including the bride herself who was looked utterly disheartened.

Finally the wedding rituals had taken place, the wedding vows had been taken and with jalal putting the sindhoor in her maang her life had changed forever as she was destined to be his life partner. She had accepted her fate with him.

It was night time when she retired for the day as the day long journey and the wedding rituals had taken a toll on her body.

He stealthily entered her khema his face turned red in anger but just by seeing the epitome of beauty sleeping peacefully on the bed all his anger seemed to have vanished into thin air.

He admired her beauty whilst slowly approached her, which is when jodha who got a clue of his arrival prepared herself to attack him with a dagger, holding her dagger just at the right moment his eyes spat anger and passion whilst closing the distance between them he said, "Agli baar aapke hifazat ke liye koi khanjar ki zaroorat nahi kyunki humare hote hue aapko kisise khauf khaane ki zaroorat nahi, aapko har kisam ke khatre se bachane ke liye hum hai, per humse apko bachane ke liye... koi nahi". (english: Next time for ur protection no need to carry d dagger wid u coz wen m der u no need to fear from anyone coz m der to protect u from any dangers but who will save u from me... none).

Saying so with an evil smirk he leaves behind petrified jodha.

Morning...

The day had brought new ray of hope in jodha's life but then did she really had any hope from her new life? After her morning prayers she was summoned to follow the rituals of eating food together. According to which she had to serve him the food but jalal seemed already with a plan to harass jodha and so he had put up a faade of having hurt his hand and so couldn't eat.

Jodha initially hesitated but then her commitments as wife made her feed him. After everything was done jalal left the khema and instantly removed the bandage which had been tied on his hand supposedly for his injury, he left having an evil smirk on his lips.

Jodha who happened to come at the nick of the moment saw him throwing the bandage and was left shocked to see his cruelty.

A cool breeze blew a few traces on her face and brought her from her reverie. She recalled each and every moment spent with jalal and cursed for having him as her husband in her life. His cruelty had left her in pain and agony.

But today's incident in DEA had made her see two sides of jalal. For the first time she happened to see soft side of jalal and even though she retired for the day but sleep was far from her eyes as whatever she had witnessed today couldn't get off her mind, with a ray of hope that somewhere her life would get better as the time passed by.

However, if only she knew that jalal had a very much a big heart inside him around which he had built a wall to avoid from further betrayals from the very people whom he loved the most.

On the other hand, jalal seemed to have had a peaceful night for the first time probably, after the verdict he had passed in DEA that had brought a smile on the face of that young boy.
