Today we will have a special programme on the new serial Chandranandini which is being telecast at the prime time in our entertainment channel.. We have with us in our studio, the main characters of the serial Mr. Chandragupta alias Chandra, MissNandini, Miss Helen, Acharya Chanakya and King Padmananda...Welcome Mr Chandra..
Chandra:( with a bowed head) Pranams KKji.
KK: We have Chandra's great mentor Chanakyaji with us..Welcome Acharyaji
Chanakya: Pranams..
KK: And we have King Padmanand, the barber, who became the powerful emperor within a short time ..
Padma: (smiles)
KK: I have great pleasure in welcoming the vivacious Miss Helen and the pretty Miss Nandini to our studios..👏👏👏now.. Acharyaji!.. What prompted you to take Mr. Chandra into your fold?
Chanakya: I happened to see Chandra as a small undernourished boy who was doing stunts on the road.. I had only one aim in my mind, that is ousting the Nand Dynasty... For that I needed a huge army, which I planned to build up from scratch.. I was in the look out for young lads and incidentally Chandra caught my eye..I took him in my custody..
KK: Oh.. it is really astounding that you had such a great vision..And how do you think your protege has developed into?
Chanak: ( looking proudly at Chandra) He is fully aware of what I aim to achieve and I am sure he will fulfil my ambition..
Chandra: ( still with the bowed head) Dhanyavad Acharyaji..
KK: Now, Mr. Chandra, tell us about your adventure so far..
Chandra: Ji..I always obey the orders of my Guru, and carry out his errand wherever I go..Whenever I am in any dilemma,my mind voice helps me to decide what i should do.. for example..
Chanakya: No..Chandra.. Keep in your mind that our enemy is siting here with us.. you should 't disclose our strategies here..
Chandra:(with a bowed head) Ji Acharya..
Chanakya: KKji, I want to tell the viewers that I have designed a "stop talking " plug to be inserted in Chandra's robotic brain so that he wouldn't blurt out anything in the presence of the enemies..
KK: That is a welcome proposal Acharyaji..now king Padmanandji, what is your opinion about this Chandranandini serial?
Padma: First of all I didn't like the title "Chandranandini".. How could they combine my priya puthri's name with that of the orphan boy without my consent? Who is he? Does he belong to any Royal family? If they had titled it Malaynandini, I would have completely borne the production costs of the serial. I am consulting a lawyer to file a suit against the Production team...
Nandini: (intervenes) Pithamaharaj.. how sweet of you.. (hugs him)
Helen: ( grinding her teeth and saying softly) Drama..drama.. father and daughter are acting well...
KK: Ahem...Miss Helen, can you say a few words about Mr. Chandra with whom you are acting..
Helen: I know that there are only two types of men, one is a cheat and another is a coward. So far he looks like a coward but I don't know if he will turn out to be a cheat..
Nandini: Helen didi.. please don't talk like that.. you must have some positive thinking...Not all men are like what you say..look at my Pithamaharaj!
Padma: My darling daughter..(hugs Nandini)
KK: Okay ..coming back to Mr. Chandra..and to the title..What do you like about the title?
Chandra: I like it very much because, in their last production, their title had the female lead's name first.. But here my name is leading..
Chanakya: Chandra..that is the spirit!..this is enough to win a battle.. ( looks at him proudly)
Chandra: (with ta bowed head) Ji acharya..
KK: Miss Nandini.. what do you say about this?
Nandini: KKji, my Pithamaharaj has already given you the reply..He is consulting the lawyer..
KK: OK viewers! In our next show, we are inviting the lawyers of both sides for a lively discussion about the title matter..and until then..

Ms Karkuzhali, KK, Chief editor and Moderator:We are today going to discuss about the controversy that is kept going around in the Forum about the Short Film, "Ahalya", produced and directed by the famous Mr. Sujoy Ghosh..


Our panelists are Ms Sashashyam, alias Mrs.Shyamala Aunty, the chief amateur analyst of the Zee JA show, who occasionally takes up other reviews as well, Ms. Jayaks02 alias Mrs Srividya, Mrs Adiana, Mrs Amina, Ms Devki the long time members of the India Forum, and Mrs Saraswathi aunty, a senile, confused and half serious, and the oldest but a recent participant in the forum. Welcome to you !
I am not going to divide you into two opposing groups, because, excepting the last mentioned panellist, others seem to have similar opinions...
And now , my first question is to Mrs Shyamala,. Mrs Shyamala, how come you took up doing the review of the short film Ahalya, now,so late, after it was uploaded on the You Tube several months ago, to be exact, on the 23 rd of July 2015?


Shyamala: Thank you Mrs Karkuzhali for inviting me to the forum to participate with the most honoured friends,like Sri, Adiana and others..To tell you frankly, Mrs Karkuzhali, this job of reviewing was forced on me by my dear Sri, long ago, as early as last November or December...I am a bit late in my reply to her and I have also profusely apologised to her for my late response whichwas mainly due to my mismanagement of time as well as the stiff attitude taken by my fingers, unyielding to my request...I gave my views in my usual way in very elaborate style, thinking that if any one who understands my review is sure to understand the film...

KK:..And now, Mrs. Shyamala, tell me in a few words about the theme behind the story.

Shya:Mrs KK, the whole idea is the mythological inversion or a femininist take on the age-old tale of Ahalya of the Ramayana period..

Saraswathi:(intervenes) Mrs Shyamala, there were so many better presentations of Ahalya's plight by so many authors in Tamil like "Pudumaipiththan"..


KK: Mrs Saraswathi Aunty, you can talk when your turn comes up...and Mrs Shyamala, please be brief in your answer.. because we have many others waiting to voice their opinion..


Shya: Ok Mrs KK, you are asking me to do the impossible...I thought I would be free to express my views in this forum and..


Sri:( raises her hand) Mrs.KK.,.. Mrs KK.,..

KK:Yes Mrs Srividya ,what do you want to say about the short film Ahalya... Be very brief so that there will be a chance for the viewers in the studio to get a final idea about the significance of..

Sri: Mrs KK ..let me be plain in one thing.. what Mrs Shyamala pointed out in her review is 100% true... , the movie cannot be easily understood by any lay person, who wants to see it from the point of view of an ordinary cinegoer...

Saras:Mrs KK, Mrs KK, Srividya is unnecessarily dragging me into her views.. What I mean to say is..

KK: Mrs Saraswathi aunty, please, please, be calm ..please do not get perturbed...and now my next question is to Mrs Amina, ...Mrs Amina, how do you find this movie.. Are you able to relate it to your culture?

Amina: Well Mrs KK, ...well..to tell you the truth...well...I had no idea about the film ..and..it is something more than one sees it and I want to watch it again and...I like how the husband says that she is her better half and symbolically he
kills two birds with one stone..and...
KK: That's fine , thank you Mrs Amina, and Mrs Devki, you are a regular and fair contributor to the forum. And what is your opinion about the mini-film..

Devki: Thank you Ms Karkuzhali.. I agree with Srividya. The movie is fantastic...But I will wait and see what Saraswathi Aunty says..I want to know her opinion..

KK: That's fine, thank you Mrs Devki... Now, Mrs Adiana, I see you as a great supporter and admirer of Mrs Shyamala, and now how do you feel about the film, based on Mrs Shyamala's review..

Adiana: Mrs KK, thank you for giving me an opportunity to give my views.. I always concur with Mrs Shyamala's views but here I differ a little..regarding her assessment of the reel Ahalya.. According to me she is luring the men with a kind of dessert to the men who are led by their lust...

Shya: No, No No! I hate this "L" word too much and I do not want it to be uttered in this innocent viewers' forum...


KK: Sure, sure, Mrs Adiana do you have anything else to say?


Adiana: Yes this film is influenced by Hitchcock I would say..


Sara:(intervenes).. Yes it resembles Hitchcock's "The Pearl Necklace".. But the story is..
KK:Sorry Mrs Saraswathi Aunty, your time is already over ..I already gave you two chances..you cannot get a third chance..


Sara: WHAT!. nothirdchance? You did not give even asingle chance..to me..I took all the chances...!😲!!!!

neither I heard
but its OK I enjoy your discussion
that time I think aunty was new so that's why everybody pulling my aunty leg
hmm they introduced you as a senile, confused and oldest member
but why you confuse aunty? may be because you recently join forum
they all don't give you a single chance to express your view
