The heartbreak - Part 1 - Heera.I leave you Saahib, forever nowI knew i would some dayBut not so broken. How oh how?Could you send me off in this way!You were a support, my sole solaceIn my days of sorrow and griefI felt so much at home at your placeThough my stay here was very briefLike noone else, you understood meYour presence dispelled my fearsBut not even once, did i ever forseeThat you'll give me so much tearsYou saved me once, from a venomous stingYou spared me pain and acheBut with your aloofness and cold partingYou've given me worse, a heartbreakReassured i felt, in your soothing embraceThough you were unsteady and faintYou remember nothing, you say, in your dazeTo whom do i address my plaintI turn around to see, if you'll wish me so longIf you'll give me a gentle farewellTo assure me that, i didn't read you wrongThat my despondency i can dispelWhatever i had lost, when i came here, i hadMy pride, my spirit, my heartOh stranger, you have wounded them allYour attitude has torn me apartMisfortunes mine or destiny's scoreThat tragedy has struck me twiceForced me to leave my shelter once moreDevastated and without device.

Doing good dear.. Hope you too. š³ How's your Diwali? š
Divi.. Once again excellent Take. So loved it. ššš I so loved lines quoted here but special mention to bold-ed line. It's so apt. šš¼Writer-e-khaas,
1. The wolves that I hunt with, with their piercing, glassy eyes, were the demons of my own heart and mind that haunt me. They make me aim in all different directions, consider every option. Will I be able to hunt them down or will they hunt me down only time will tell.
2. The hazel eyes of Sahiba - so pure, so clear are a mirror to my own consciense. The way her eyes question me, the way they seek the truth from me, they burn down all the facades that I have used to silence my own conscience. Alas, it may be too late, may be too late for my conscience to ever come clean. Instead, I stand in front of her a different man, a heartless man.
I could silence Cha Cha Jaan but how could I silence my own heart. And so, my heart still weighed heavily.
5. And I Akbar, am torn between all these facets of me - the demons, the conscience, the heart, and the brain. I am fighting between the black and the color of my life. So far, I have pushed the burst of rainbow behind the stormy clouds. But you know, there may be one ray of hope that the color may come back? And that is ...
Oh yes I could sense the rejuvenated spirit here. šOriginally posted by: shahbhavini

This is the nineteenth chapter of this saga, more like a journey as you capture it in the sensational camera of your gem of a writing skill. As we step into nineteen, the story young and gentle and tender like a new born, slowly morphs into a teenager, lively and full of imaginations, urging to live in colours, daring to tread the forbidden terrain, fighting with the ever ruling conscience to steal a moment of self exploration... having its first ever tryst with passion unknown. That is how the story has been so far. That is how Heera and Akbar have been so far. But now at the wake of youth, things ought to change... for duties and dangers...
Undaunted he is full of confidence and skill, but sadly for him his worst fears come alive, just when he was willing to let them pass and he to escape from the clutches of duties calling... to the other world. He riding into dangerous woodlands, exploring the unknown of enemies and skills is a sheer metaphor, of his life, and more so of his existence. He rides away through the dark and deep, his focus steady, his weapons ready to attack. Troubles lurk around him - like savage pack of wolves, baring their teeth, frothing and snarling - intimidating his very existence . And he like the proud lion, fears not the cowardice... beating them down by his mere gaze. He doesn't fear the harm to his existence, but he fears a harm to HER existence... so he knows that he has to end it all...Honestly speaking, this was one of the finest example of your versatility - the likes of which we have seen in Durga's fight till death... various moments of Akbar and Heera together, including the mistaken crying on the shoulder and the canal scene in the previous chapter. Not everyone has the finesse of embroidering jewels into a thread work of complicated emotions... you the Hermoine Granger have been bestowed with it, so fully! Also now as we approach the end of part 1, the canal scene of the previous chapter makes more significance - that was like the completion of a circle, now they are where they were when it all began... only the sunshine of hopes goes amiss!!The Queen of Gems, worth a thousand beauties, such a precious girl is this Heera... what is not in her to love? What is not there in her to make one stake his happiness to her unmarred radiance. She is the subject, and she is the object too... all his actions, deliberately or not are because of her and just for her... she knows his pulse, she prides herself in reading his eyes, dark depths which morph into crystal clear waters of a brook, at her honeyed urging. So she steps in to bid a farewell much to the indignance of Gauri - but she comes later - but this rendezvous turns out to be a metaphor again, to the vagaries of Fate. She steps into a chamber unknown, passes through corridors where light doesn't bounce of her silks, where the unfamiliarity doesn't seem welcoming it lingers around like ominous vibes... such a stark contrast! (This is how probably she is going to feel when she learns his darker self, methinks)... here again they complete a tale, which had begun in Chapter 8. Then he let the guards down to clarify himself... to subtly show off his talents. Here he builds up fortifications all over again to spurn her. There they bid a farewell though she were to stay... but here when they are actually parting ways... they utter none. Sad it is, to see her choking in her disappointment, as her palanquin exits, sans him calling her back. All of it must've been a terrible nightmare, that she is never going get over.Protagonists apart, Gauri and Chachajaan are obviously two pillars who stand out from the rest. Be it in their unwavering faith and sense of service, their understanding of what their respective masters need and above all else, their farsight - something achieved out of heart and not tactful mind. Heera has her entire family in Gauri... why in that splitting moment before letting her in her meaningful gaze at Heera reveals so much - the worries of a best friend, careful counsels of an elder sibling, the warnings of an elderly lady of the house, almost threatening the little one into understanding, and many fears and prayers, typical of the motherhood, as her child embarks on the road not taken. If Gauri is the embodiment of Heera's conscience... Chachajaan is a mirror to Akbar's soul. His pains and fears, needs and thoughts and even the slightest traces of possessiveness that seepes into his besotted self, nothing goes unnoticed in this mirror that knows him inside out. Chachajaan is a presence he cannot ignore, a thought he cannot dismiss... for he is soul who prevents the goodness of his heart from drying out from the scorching heat of cruel ambitions.Part one thus wraps up with the lovers parting ways, now we plunge more into the harrowing depths of ploys and plans... I am waiting with bated breath to see how the fingers and mind, so expert in weaving the finest filigree of subtle romance crafts finer threads of a neck break racing... we have already been subjected to a sneak peek at this in the opening of this chapter, I suppose!Wanted to keep it short, but ended up in summarising the journey so far in my own way... waiting for the games to begin...With lots of love! ā¤ļø

Bhavi... this is how exactly I too felt. Truly I never read sad parts once again. But here it's different and I didn't satisfy by my one read. I read it again and again. ššOriginally posted by: shahbhavini
I clapped for Heera's grace... The way she collected the courage to meet him, face him once again... confront openly... truly admirable... U always go beyond and above reader's expectation. I am not going to be satisfied in one time reading... I have to read again to feel the pain once again of those torn souls... I want to feel Akbar's pain when she was walking out from his life... I want to cry out loud for Heera... for her self-respect... for her insult... for her broken faith.
