Btw Sandy... CGM... omg... what are the CVs thinking...

It reminds me of Dharamveer...
Rajat's PRC was a massive hit... because the history was there... the role was there... the serial was to be made... the historical character was researched... and Sagars cast him in it... added some masala here and there... extended the role ... but it was still a definite role and had to end... the overall memories were ❤️

Dharam Veer was made FOR RT... by Sagars.. fresh, after seeing the fandom he'd amassed during PRC ... it was a fictional story.. not well researched... money was invested early on.. but apart from that nothing much.. as a directorial venture, it was far inferior to PRC...

See the trend again?

Yes this show is made for RT and RT alone. It's only masala no history at all.As far as my knowledge in history goes and from all the information available in the internet Chandragupta had only one queen whom he loved dearly. She was queen Durdhara. And by no means can she be Nandini.Shhe was a common girl and not a princess.According to some sources she was Chandragupta's cousin. So the character Nandini itself is fictitious. She was a homely lady taking care of only Chandragupta's household chores.Never did she wield a weapon nor did she interfere with the political matters of the state.Chandragupta was so much in love with her that he had refused to take any other wife after she died young. He married Helena much later and had stayed with her only for four to five years after which he embraced Jainism and lead the last years of his life as a monk.So it's just wait and watch what MASALEDAR KHICHDI Ekta serves us.

Thank you very much my dear young comrades,
An artist and an author get fulfilment only if their work is appreciated..Thank you for your sweet words..🤗

For those who can draw pictures of human beings can attempt this type of rangoli. Others can try simple geometric designs and do the designs of a carpet or a rug.
Mix coloured powder with stone powder and sprinkle on the designs thro a tea strainer to get the effect of an even surface.Concentration to the highest level and lot of patience go into this to bring out the end product and it is a tragedy that this cannot be preserved permanently like a painting or sculpture.
And Good Night!

Periyamma/ Aunty/ Akka.

My mother is into geometric rangolis... but they can get quite complicated... as the patterns grow and grow...

Thanks for the explanations on how you got the even surface effect...
It's preserved through photos na periyamma.. 50 years ago would you have thought it'd still be enjoyed? 🤗

Starting with my wishes for an extremely happy Navratri and would pray for the safety of one and all, as well as you too😳

Yup... just a day late to reply to this one.. but we've wished each other a lot over the past 10 days...

Even though it has been repeated time and again, by all and sundry, it is worth repeating again - you're phenomenally romantic, the romantic situations sparking the scenes so uncommon, yet so natural... the reasons for the lovers to meet are so impossible and yet when they meet they spread an aura of bliss, of a certain peace which both are in search of, a peace which they are getting used to, so much so that all walls of oaths crumble down at the nereus beckoning if that peace. Responsibility, duties, promises sound like mere words... and they come closer still! If this is not magnificent, then what is?

the reasons for the lovers to meet are so impossible and yet when they meet they spread an aura of bliss How romantic is the verse you've written here... wow... and really? You think the scenes appear that way? If so, I am ultra glad... thanks a lot dearie... thanks so so so much!

Very secure though, she might be feeling within the walls of an unknown haveli, in a lesser known town, and amidst the least known people... she realises her position well and good! The lurking dangers around her make their presence felt to her sensibilities, and she knows that she's being spied... her letters not making it to the destination finally makes sense, yet

after a lot of pondering, those suspicions about the Sahib appeared 'unjustified' - even to the logical corner of her mind - since there were just too many things that didn't add up. And who better to know this than her? Like, his attempts to save her life. His earnest concern for her wellbeing. His timely help to her people. The courtesy and empathy he'd displayed during jiji's funeral rites. And several such instances.

It's natural na... a person who shows you concern who's saved your life possibly at least twice and helped... how can you continue being suspicious of him?

Ensnared by the duties of an heiress, her people looking for her support and the clutches of death and lethal enemies watching out for her, for a moment she is a sixteen year old, seized by fear of death, the negative vibes creating restlessness in her otherwise calm and stately soul, but by some miracle of sorts, as if some invisible witch screamed Alohomora! Swishing her wand, and the locks burst open... and there she finds herself strength

'Just stay safe...'

I felt like Heera for a second.. reading your words.. transported me through her thoughts

Nevertheless she feels safer than the safest with those words, even when she knows she's hiding behind a Stranger, for it's a pure miracle, that his acts of shielding her are more impulsive than planned, more out of sincerity, and even if she is suspicious of Him, her conscience doesn't suspect His motives. So unbelievable and yet such a beautiful bond they share! But now that she resolves to get her message sent to Mahendar, something tellsme that she is going to be successful this time around... it is ironical, that as long as she was in Aidabad, she was safe from the world, as she is about to set out, the dangers turn, if possible, more dangerous!

it is ironical, that as long as she was in Aidabad, she was safe from the world, as she is about to set out, the dangers turn, if possible, more dangerous! Imagine the tighest squishest hug in the world... for this line Adwi.. love you so so much

Treacherous routes he has taken, fearsome competition many he had crushed but never before and never again will he be able to deviate a question of concern. Paradox? There are a plenty to say, in the least

'You might never share your thoughts with us... never form attachments... but you worry about shielding us from 'harm'... quite a paradox!'

'Here's another paradox, Khan Sahib...' Azeez persisted, undaunted by the warning 'We work for the Shehzaade, because we work for YOU... it's not the other way around!'

And there is another one that Azeez missed out... the men who are expected to live a detached life, living as a recluse, forming no bonds whatsoever, for their and others good, share the strongest of bonds - Friendship! A bond so strong, an attachment so unforgettable and a journey so cherished. Lashy di, Khan Sahib might be the hero in this tale, struggling the most and stealing maximum limelight... but these three friends are no less than him, if not more, and like the Three Kings bearing gifts to Jesus, give us gifts which never gets wasted, even in excess!

That's the paradox his first line was about... but it's true... this sort of loyalty cannot be brought by mere discipline... it comes with respect and giving too... which AMK has done for not only these three but many others over the years!

Awww I am glad everyone's taken such a liking to these three musketeers!

Etched against the twilight overtaking the vista, just like the deepening dangers, he spots on the green meadows his peace... a chance to forego all his pains, a company that wipes away worst of agony... deep in agony! How could he not lend her strength. For time and again, whether in her prayers or wishes, fears or weaknesses, whenever she has been in need of strength, of unwavering support he has appeared out of the blue, swishing the miracle wand and muttering Lumos! And gone were those dark shadows, at least for a while.

Whenever she's in need of strength he's the one her mind seeks... and he is happy to lend her that strength but fate .. how long will it allow this relationship?

Empathy is not the need, consoling words are lost in the gaping Black Hole of loneliness... it's just the matter of sharing the grief, and of having the right company to do so.When two indomitable souls as them grieve in unity it couldn't be more poignant than what you have described ⭐️... yes, their conversation was vague, yet when they lamented the loss, they never mentioned the lost. When they already knew what was the pain, they never questioned the reason of pain! That's exactly what makes them all that they are... such magnificent characters you have etched 👏

when they lamented the loss, they never mentioned the lost. When they already knew what was the pain, they never questioned the reason of pain... take a bow for this line Adwi.. it's not that we don't know what you've written we do.. but it's the way you've written it!

'Yes, I wonder too!' she gasped under her breath - at how his words sounded like he knew all her problems inside out. Ever since the tragedy, she'd shared her thoughts with no one, talked to no one about any of this - she assumed there would be none who could relate to her feelings. But here he was - the most unlikely person - mirroring her mind and language.

'And if God must take away... why take it away so cruelly...' she poured her heart out, turning to gaze at his silhouette as he continued gazing at the horizon 'leaving us alone in this world...'

'Alone in this world... a loneliness... despite the fact that we're surrounded by many...'

'Surrounded by many who care for us... but no one can understand this pain... no relationship that can fill this void easily...' she stopped, letting that last sentence linger in her mind '...no relationship that can fill this void easily'

Wonderful these are... so poignant and pure, when one day, this novel gets over, this will be one of the many moments I will surely cherish!!😊

Really? Emotional aansoon tapking!😭

As much as I would cherish this sweet lady Dhani, the otherwise gullible gossip mill, who trusts her faith more than herself. Where do we get people like her, thinking like this!!👏

Btw... Dhani is not very gullible.. she's quite clever... she was the first one to enlighten her group about AMK's 'nicer' side, remember?
If you're referring to her as gullible because she chose to believe she's at fault, and not her baisa... that's purely because of the blind devotion they all have towards their Lady😊

Nascent emotions and brimming heart of the sixteen year old, having thus found a haven to let out her pent up tears, a confide to reflect her worst fears, she lets her barriers fall... something evident in her unrestrained recalling her sister's last words, and the figurative weeping on the shoulder. It's more like He will always be there to partake her pains... all along they had bottled up their pains knowing they had no worthy company to share, now when she gets it in the most ironical situation, they just let go. No doubt thus that the repercussions don't seem to wear off, awakening the youthful spirit in her and the otherwise practical Khan Sahib, like any other worldly sapiens dreams of living in his wishful life in another life... while she puts down her guards of logic for a moment to feel her temptations soar with a Wingardium Laviosa! Magical ⭐️

I was going to quote a few words from the above para, till it became one line, then two, then three..
It's beautiful Adwi.. the paragraph and the entire write up... you have no idea how many times I've read and cherished it..
Waiting for the day when you'll write your own story..

This thus ends with a lot of possible happenings, their journey hence tending to part ways. Now it is to wait and watch where the ways meet and how soon!

PS: I think this is a bit too long, so please bear with it!
Seriously? Like really seriously?
Ufff! Here's a big hug dearie🤗

Oh everyone knows there's no history there... but there can be some 'believable' factor in the scenes...

Thank you Lashy..
50 years is too long a period. But even a while ago I did not expect that this will be enjoyed here in the IF! The drawings of the famous artist "Gopulu" inspired me to do these two rangolis, and the third one was of another artist Kanu Desai.
I did some more rangolis in India, mostly in my house there, but the photos of them were lost during the time we moved to Australia, and when my son shifted his residence twice here.
