Hellooo akkaaa🤗 Commenting right away this time...and on this chapter, though I have the earlier one left.😆

First things first..this was 'BEAUTIFUL' to say the least!! You had me in tears while reading and if it is possible, you've made me fall in love with Heera and Akbar more than I already did.❤️

So starting from the start, I'm scared...more scared than Heera is cos she has no clue about her jijasa's reality. She trusts him to be a good person, confides in him to an extent and genuinely believes he loved her jiji...I can't imagine her reaction when she comes to know first about the marriage proposal and then about his true nature. My heart goes out to this lady.😒

I kinda expected her sharp mind to catch the fact that the scrolls weren't reaching the intended people, because of no response in so many days. But she's way ahead..she has to an extent decoded Akbar's words, it's planted a seed of doubt in her mind, though he's been most careful to leave no hints. And she has seen enough of him to know he's good at heart, never the one who would hurt a good soul. But her internal conflict is going to stay now.

His words 'Just stay safe' playing on her mind time and again..it soothed her nerves.- the voice, those words. She knew he cared.😳

Coming to Akbar letting the scrolls burn in the last chapter...it was one of my favourite parts. Again, so many emotions, so many conflicts in his mind...he needs his heart to clear it for him before he can explain anything to his three mates. The will to protect someone had come in between his duty for the first time..letting the scrolls burn meant destroying the biggest clue and he knew the repercussions it would have once the news reached the Shehzaade..but he did it, his heart won this round.

And then one of my favourites here- When Azeez says they work for the Shehzaade because they work for HIM! They don't hesitate to stand in front of him and question him, they have earned the right to do it. It warmed my heart to see the love and respect they have for Akbar...they would stand by him in every battle he faces and never leave his side. Akbar is lucky to have these three..and he knows it. And he loves them equally..he knows he is responsible and he'll not let his actions harm them.

And finally the Akbar- Heera conversation. He cares for his girl..and how much?! Whenever he's with her, his heart involuntarily takes over his mind! How magical was that scene..that heartfelt conversation!!!

I love how they are a different person when they are in each others' company. They connect...at a different level altogether! That's why they delve into each others' hearts and bring out each others' innermost secrets, unknowingly and unwillingly at times. They bring out each others' emotions, the deepest wounds which they are accustomed to bury deep within them, owing to the lives they live and their position. ❤️❤️❤️

I cried when Heera spoke about her Jiji's memories...it shook me! She is scared...she admitted it to the last person she would have imagined, but she did. I couldn't no cry there..her rare vulnerable side. Life is so so unfair! They both didn't deserve such hard lives..they're human after all..and young! And the irony of it, he was somewhere associated with the men who were the cause of all this pain to her, yet he can do nothing about it...how could that heart not ache!😭

The moment where she mistakes his sleeve to be the handkerchief is so beautifully written..a tender moment between the two, so unexpected. 😳
And Dhani..her reaction was expected. Her Baisa and Khan Sahib..she just can't imagine this could happen.

Heera has just fallen for him, hasn't she? That last part...she keeps telling herself not to think too much, that this isn't right, that she should move on and concentrate on her life.
Yet Akbar, his presence, his touch, his words have affected her in a way noone else has. That scene could only be experienced..I can't describe it in words!❤️❤️

And the end...Akbar has decide to take this as a mission henceforth, but his heart is going to come in the way at some point. There's no way he can disregard it. I wanna see what he does once he gets his hands on the Farmaan...if he manages to that is.

Phew! An amazinggg update once again! You're tooo good a writer...you create such magic with the characters! 🤗

I'm yet to review the previous update, I know..but can't today after already such a long one for this one. Thought of doing that first and then for this chapter, but I just wanted to review this one as soon as I was done reading. 😆
Love ya loadsss 🤗

Chapter 17.

The story goes...

What a fantastic cloth Lashy has woven
With the finest threads best chosen
Like a Sari with magnificent designs
Embroidered with delicate work that shines.
We expected the meeting to take place
Between the lead pairs all with grace
What happened between them was emotional
As poets would describe it as something devotional..

What happened to her on that morning,
Would not happen to any young girl in mourning
What happened to the messages to the Rajahs?
Why have I not got reply from my jijah?
Clever and smart enough an heiress is she
She guessed something that smelt fishy
Suspecting some spying going around Aidabad
By the cruel Kalil, who was the Shezaadi's right hand..

Poor girl! Ignorant of what Kunwar was planning about
Writes a letter to him stating her whereabouts..
Planning to send it the next day secretly
And to make it reach the hands of him discreetly..
The poor girl later sought a place under a tree
With tears in her eyes thinking about her jiji
What a dramatic turn when he saw her from a distance
Nothing else mattering him but for her presence

His anxiety towards her made his friends suspect
His strange behaviour though they never intended to dissect
He neared her and she asked him about his health
His heart melted when he heard about her jiji's death
And he strangely felt a feeling of guilt
That brought down his pride he had strongly built
He gave her his kerchief to wipe her tears
She chilled him with words that rang in his ears...

"Why God gives, if he wants to take away?"
She poured out her mind that gave her away
"Surrounded by many yet feeling alone finally
No relationship will fill this void so very easily.."
Left alone late in the night, the poor girl wavered
Between logic and temptation, to think about the scene she savoured
Temptation succeeded, hiding behind excuses
Will logic with temptation play the deuce?

He didn't find any such excuse to choose
Having led a life of a recluse
Logic made him drive her from his mind
But the thought of to be with her in another life to find
Love is not a bed of roses people say
What would happen to them if they fail to find a way..
Let us sit as usual with our fingers crossed
Waiting for the author to unravel the mysteries crisscrossed..
