The Rajput kings had their own version of this game... with Hindu symbolic paintings on back... and in the Mughal court their own 'Baadshah' style paintings 😊

Ahadi - as far as I read, they are truly specialist warriors - personal bodyguards to the prince/king... who were trained in the sort of weapons and warfare that no one else was given the privilege to learn... they were the creme-de-la-creme of the soldiers (though not highest in position)

their only job was to act as personal bodyguards to the rulers... 😊

so the manner in which AMK aimed those knives, could very much have been possible in that era.. some of the stories of the Mongol warriors and the art with which they'd perfected their aims I read were just 👏

I was inspired from that to etch the character of AMK

Akbar's ahadis were under the authority of a senior nobleman, and had their own bakhshi paymaster. The pay (and status) of ahadis was lower than that of the lowest mansabdar officer but higher than that of the ordinary tabinan trooper."

The central cavalry were called the ahadis (single fighters) and frequently had administrative positions in the palace in addition to their military obligations. Paid directly from the imperial treasury, they were loyal only to the sovereign but had no servile status. The ahadis normally accompanied the imperial court and took the field only for major campaigns and unusual situations."

They are capable of that, but they are also capable of so much more. These are practical warriors for a working battle, with a good grasp of tactics and the skills needed to cut almost any enemy to ribbons. As they charge home the tassels make each horse appear winged!

Each man is hand picked, trained to ride without thinking about it, and given the very best horse and equipment Mughal money can buy.

"Ahadi" literally means "royal messenger", and the message they delivered on the battlefield was a devastating one of terror and violence!

Lashy diii...😊.revealing update it was. To some extend I was right about about Khan Sahib, that he was some sort of detective or spy...but...USTAAD never in my wildest dreams I thought of it😲. I took whole 5 minutes to calm myself after reading, I am blind, partially blind'...I was literally shaking and even dropped my phone😆.

I knew he was hand in glove with the shehzade and thought maybe he was one of Khalil's men but never knew that khalil was one of his men😲.Ustaad ...I thought he was someone old but...It all makes so much sense now why he was so apprehensive about falling for Heera, still he hid information about her.The whole shehzade -ustaad scene was so amazingly written.👏.one could feel the tension and Khan Sahib's inner turmoil.And this shehzade is very clever. I thought he was some hot-headed crazy for throne,but he was clever enough to guess that something was wrong with khan sahib.Earlier I was only worried for Heera ,now I am worried for both of them.

What will happen when Heera would know about khan sahib.He's got so much blood in his ledger even Durga's ,in a way.This story is getting so much complicated with each update. Now I am so eager to how everthing will turn out😛.

Heera -Bahadur scene was touching😳.The way he thanked Heera I loved it.Honestly ,I did not pay much attention to Mahendra😡 ,was so engrossed in comprehending USTAAD Akbar,still am...
