Akbar is not right.if he loves ruq and want to be with her.then he should not have married jodha it was also his selfish motive to marry her for his mother's health.If its between his mother and ruq.He has to sacrifice one person. He has no right to mess others life.He is really a mastermind here.@kuki715

Why only Akbar is at fault here?

Imagine if tommorow a parent will threaten not to eat till son/daughter does not marry will they not marry to save their parent?

In india does not many lovers sepearted by emotional blackmail by family?

And if child still will say that they will marry lover society, relative, parents call them eshaan faramosh

Recently i read a news in paper saying in a big metro daughter fell in love and parents opposed yet she did court marriage and parents committed suicide and she was allowed to attend funeral in heavy security as neighbours, relatives etc all hated her and wanted to attack her and her new husband

If Akbar says to hell with mother and married Ruq or tells jodha truth and something happen to hamida then also he is villan, here also he is villan.

I think master mind is hamida/bharamal not akbar here

they forced children to marry agianst will for political benefit or some relation maintain sake

Yes akbar spent a night with jodha but he was intoxcated thought its ruqaiah, jodha could have stopped him but she was in love and wanted to be his, she tried stopping him but than love is blind and she forgot consequence of one night in the blind love to akbar.
