According to the latest interview of Rajat,when he was asked about the project,he said that 4 to 5 months before his previous show with Ekta Kapoor ended (jodha akbar ) ,he got a call from Ekta who told him not to go anywhere because she has another story for him in her mind..
So thats why Rajat said that he was associated with the show since 1.5 years😃

The one that came in sbs tiday was a must watch. They said rajat ne gille shikve miyake ki dher saari batein.. i was like..kyu bhai? Ura bhla bolo yr usko.

Tumhe neend nhi aegi raat ko 😆 i liked his ans he said aisa nhi hai ki mene mna kiya hai ya kha hai ki ktai baat nhi krni media se...but ye hota hai ki kuch log lines cross kr dete hai...etc etc
