In the India Forum theatre...

The auditorium is full. The stage is set for the next scene..

The audience is waiting for the scene to start..

It is the crowd pulling historical drama titled, "Hiding Behind a Stranger" written and directed by Lashy, a popular dramatist.

The cast include the hero Akbar, a horse trader,and Heera, a beautiful young sixteen year old heiress of Parngarh estate...

Life was not smooth for these two , but they face their circumstances remarkably well with their wisdom and gut..which makes the drama gripping..

So far till now...before the INTERMISSION..

Will the hero return the heroine's kindness and respond to her concern?

The first row is occupied by Lashy's invitees, well wishers and connoisseurs of art..The whole auditorium is waiting for the next scene ,with their eyes fixed on the stage.. The curtain goes up.."WOW" There is a bustle of voices..The setting of the scene is such that the expectation of the audience reaches the highest .They see the actors waiting behind the side screen for making entry.. Are they Heera and her friends? .What is going to happen? In the previous scene, the hero was invited by the heroine to the feast..Will he accept he invite?

" I think he will accept her invitation and come.."

" No.. this is the final offering to the immortal Durga.."

" I don't think he will come.. He will stubbornly refuse to eat and will choose to stay hungry.."

" No no he won't be like that..I think he will find some excuse to come.."

These dialogues go round the "first row " audience!

What will happen?
