Jalal was not abused... yes, he was neglected ... but he did have a protected-enough childhood 😕... esp considering it was such a war-torn era!
He had many relatives against him, but he did have many with him all through too...

There was a scene when Jalal's chacha pushes him to the ground and beats him, when his chachi saves him. Placing him in front of the cannons was abusive enough, intended to deriving pleasure in scaring the child. Had killing the child been the only aim, there are easier ways to finish off.

Jalal had just 2 people to protect him. And Akbar just one.

But AMK has probably had faced worse. Only Lashy knows.
