So i think he had clue about the marriage, but had not expected that the new begam will the same princess whom he had taught once...

But Stuti dii, how does it matter that he knew this or not? Is not absolutely obvious that she HAS to be his Begum!

It's not tough to guess from her presence in his room that she is somehow his begam. What I am saying is if he had no idea about Jalal's latest marriage, he would have been much shocked than he was in the show...
