Chandra Gupta Maurya's shooting begins!

Alexx O'Nell has been integral part of films and television. Alexx will now be seen in Balaji's Chandragupt Maurya as Alexander The Great.

Speaking about the role, an elated Alexx said, "I will be seen in Chandragupt Maurya as Alexander The Great. First of all, I've always been fascinated by Alexander. I've travelled to Greece numerous times and seen many of the places be concurred with my own eyes. I saw some of his former kingdom in Egypt as well. I even have a small statue of him I brought back from one of my travels. In 10 years he achieved more than anyone before and anyone since. He's truly a fascinating character. I read a great deal about him and will incorporate much of what I learned Secondly, I feel that Balaji has and will devote the resources to do a project like this properly."

Elaborating further, he added, "I will start shooting from today. My movie just released this Friday. In Santosh Sivan's Ek Yodha Shoorveer, I play a double role, along with Vidya Balan, Tabu, Genelia D'Souza, Prabhudeva, Amole Gupte, Prithviraj, and Arya.

As he has come back on television after a long hiatus he opined, "I think I've done ten or so films since my last television show."
