Thanks Harshu...one of my fav episodes...reasons, Ruku falling flat on her face...firstly, Jo pushes Ruku's hand like warning her not to cross her limits but our dimwit Ruku never understands it, so finally Jalal shows her the face of truth , with his clear message, that he is happy to share his life with Jo, even though Ruku will always remain to be his best friend and BEK...
Jo and Jalal ... Jalal and Jo... as I always call them two sides of the same
coin... while watching the boat ride scene, somebody may feel, why they r
sitting away from eachother, and when Jalal has such a good chance to go close
to her, how can he let it go...but I felt they were much closer , though sitting
away from eachother...the way Jalal opened his heart to her abt his life as a
sipahi , and letting her know abt his loneliness saying upfrontly, that his
sword is his closest partner and lover till date who never backstabbed him nor
cheated him ... the simple sentence said lot many things abt him, abt his life
till date to Jo, and she understood it and though not touching him or embracing
him in her arms to take away his loneliness, her gaze looking straight at him,
spoke volumes, that of being there at every step with him in their future
together...I felt that distance btw them was necessary to open up with eachother... had
they been sitting close to eachother in such environment , Jo wouldn't
have been able to relax like that and Jalal instead of talking abt himself , he
would have lost in her dreams and in her proximity... the distance just showed
, the gap btw their trust and love for each other, which they have to
fulfill with their understanding and support before they accept eachother
completely..I really feared while they both denied inviting the other, that dhakka
incident may come up again... but no he seems to think on other lines... and
now when he has concluded that somebody is trying to get them closer, then I wished
, CVs would show him to think abt that
fateful night also to be just like this, and move on...but, we all know the
truth of the letter would never be unveiled..anyway...Just to mention two sentences by
Jalal :First when she asks him how many eyes does he have, and he replies looking
at her , till date he has just two, but now he feels he has four... and while
she searches his eyes for the meaning of it, he guards it saying even if he has
two eyes he is always on alert , and so it's ok... now what he meant by now he
feels he has four eyes? Certainly not romantically that his two and her two
eyes... but I felt he was referring to the way she too guards him , the way she
cares for him and his safety, and so with her eyes (her care and support) added
to his two , now his strength of alertness has been increased... was that how
he wanted to say it? And will Jo understand the meaning of his words?Second , when he says his sword is his best companion and lover, he says
it's till date... indirectly telling her, his desire for her unconditional
love, her care, her support... will Jo
understand his unspoken words?... the way she looks at him without a blink , does
it mean her unspoken promise to stand by him, to support him at every step of
their life ahead and to love him to such extent that he will never ever feel
lonely in his life again...was this the reason that she understands his wish , that she let's his most
desired word slip from her mouth , later when they were alone after Ruku
tantrums? Was that the reason, that she was not able to concentrate on her
prayers , coz her heart and mind now r in greater conflicts , as her heart
understands him and wants to be with him, while her mind still holds her back
as it still doesn't trust him completely to be with her when she needs him
most?And later when he is putting Ruku right in her place, by telling that many
ppl want him to be with Jo , and they see them (him and Jo) as a perfect
couple, his eyes were on Jo, like he is trying to make her accept the fact,
that is his heart's wish too... just two of them to be the real couple... and
all the time there is a smile on his face that everybody around them has
started accepting them (him and Jo) as a couple, just like he is doing for last
few days...Till now we have always seen Jo to be very much cautious whenever she talks
to him... she has never let her feelings come out in open in front of
him...then how come she suddenly said those magical words to him? Agreed , when
she spoke those words, she was unaware at first but later when she said "humare
prem ka apman hota", she became aware of what she was saying... the words
hamare prem ka apman' were smoothly spoken, and last word hota' was uttered in
very low tone as that was the time she became aware of her confession... and
then she looked at him to see his reaction only to find him looking at her
without a blink , with pleasant and happiest smile on his face... she waits for
a sec to see if he taunts her back , then asks his permission to leave, and all
the time they r looking directly at eachother...And she understands that he has understood the meaning of her words and
still holding himself back to give her space to accept her own feelings, and so
she stops for a sec and looks back at him , again to find his gaze on her with
same smile but now a bit challenge in it, that now there is no escape from him
anymore , not that she wants it... and so she leaves with a certain calmness on
her face, while Jalal smiles to himself for the victory more precious to him
than winning any battle.
welcum...I njoyed thoroughly reading ur review dikshu...u have presented ur pov so well...was totally engrossed in reading ti... 😳 d epi was really awsum...joja 2gtherness... 😳 ruks was given reality check by jalal he had cleared d air rather her misunderstanding that she was only khaas begum and he loved her bla bla bla...nut I really loved jalal here he v royally smoothly and politely dismissed d facts of ruks...and his gaze thru out on jo was to watch on... 😳 later wen she confesses his blushes ufff were to die for... 😳 agree abt ur pov abt joja sitting at a distant frm each other yet dey were close by heart... 😳 jalal was opening up wid her wid comfy... 😳
