My response- The way you explained the rationale of fear in emotions and the expectation to understand is totally compelling. I agree with your logic and marvel at this interpretation.

Regarding characters, all your arguments regarding most characters are so sound, there is nothing to argue about. However, I have a major disagreement in Hamida's case and a slight one for Jodha.

Hamida may be a pure soul, but she is very brittle. She talks big of all the hardships she has suffered but when pressure is put on her she folds like a pack of cards. All talk and no action. Most untrustworthy person in the serial, it is the Hamidas of the world that you put your trust in because of their nice behaviour in good times, but sooner or later they let you down.

Jodha is one confused soul. You never talk about past affections with anyone. No man will ever fully accept a woman who professes affection for an earlier paramour. Considering the track record of the place, it is a miracle that no bandhi heard it. In Ruqaiya's hands, this stuff is dynamite and she would have used it to poison the Jodha Akbar relationship for ever, there would be no epic romance.

what u feel abt HB, is coz u have watched the show till end , specially that last HB -Jo religion battle track... but till now if u think of HB only for this 113 episodes, u will understand what I mean... and as per her crumbling under pressure, then while she faced hardships, Humayun was with her, and he was her strong support...but after him, even Jalal went away from her, and the lady though the emperor's mother, has nobody with her to share anything... what she faced later was all alone, till Jalal came back to her...and naturally her growing age , would bring certain weakness in her...

and as for Jo's talks abt Surya is concerned, then there is nothing to hide, coz Jalal has seen her with Surya, and even then he married her forcefully...and even he knows there was nothing wrong in Jo Surya relationship, and Jo is very pure and transparent...so even if she would have talked in front of him abt Surya, may be he would have felt jealous, but that would have only increased his craving for her...so I don't find Jo confusing... rather she is very open and clear

jodha started to trust jalal again... nd loved d way there talk was going on... nd jalal told he has complete trust on jodha was lovely...
ruks as always overconfident...
hosh is good mirror for ruks but she will nt accept it...
SB is like a bridge b/w jodha jalal...

Very nicely written update Harshu⭐️🤗

Bakshi seeking forgiveness from Jodha for her evil deed but Jodha was hurt and shocked for being accused of adultery and accusing Shehehshah. Both things numbing her down.

Bakshi didnt look one bit to be ashamed or guilty of her evil deed😔 She came across as someone who got caught. Jodha's heart and eyes were on shehenshah only.😳

Ruq in hamam happy to know that Jodha isnt becoming a mother so Jalal is hers! She decides to apologise to Jalal for her mistrust. Hoshiyar sensed it rightly that shehenshah is trusting Jodha😳

Ruq scenes don't make much sense, they are randomly inserted to show jealousy and selfishness.

Resham and Maham talking about Bakshi, when Jalal comes. This was a good scene where Jalal shares his pain of having being betrayed by his own sister. Maham consoles him and tells him there is no friend of shehenshah and only enemies. Jalal asks "apne kyu dushman ka chehra laga lete hai. This was very poignant thought. He adds "dono hi surat mei haar toh hamari hai".

The dialogues were really good👍🏼 and performance by Ashwini and Rajat was good too. Perhaps one of the rare scenes where Maham is genuinely feeling bad for Jalal.😛

Jodha goes to meet Salima to thank her for helping her just like an elder sister would and her respect has increased in her eyes. Salima tells her its not needed as she called her sister and besides she earned that trust and thats why Jalal too could see her truth and innocence. Now Jodha is worried about the harsh words she directed towards Shehenshah. Salima tells her that the circumstances were such but in future she should be careful and she knows how to handle her relationship with her husband and tells her to do what her heart tells. Jodha thanks her for her sound advice in few words.

Salima was shown to be mature and sensitive👍🏼. She gave good advice and wanted Jalal-Jodha relationship to develop😳.

Now comes the wonderful Jodha-Jalal scene😳😳

Jodha has gone apologise to Jalal but he tells her that he wants to apologise that his own sister conspiring and trying to defame her. Jodha then says she came to apologise for her own behavior and did not know all the while he was protecting her honor and had not broken his promise or done her maan bhang, she had called him nirankush also. But now knowing all this she wants to know who is he? Jalal tells her that he is the one who was made to lose the humane touch in the battlefield when he was merely 14 and become ruthless, heartless, merciless. He can mark anyone as his own. He is one who never trusted anyone but now has trust for a woman and he likes to trust her. Jodha senses its her and asks him why? Jalal explains that he does not know why but he felt like trusting her his heart made him to do. Jodha adds that all this while his stance was to safeguard her honor and find the culprit but she mistrusted him and seeks forgiveness for that. Jalal tells her that she should not feel so as anyone else would have thought the same but that does mean that he did all this because he has fallen in love with her because thats not true. Jodha smiles at this. He would do that for any other person in her place as he does not think anyone should have courage to do so to a shehenshah begum.

Jalal hints😉 indirectly that his heart told him to trust Jodha😳 and he does like to trust her. His statement that he has fallen in love with her was actually true although he was denying it. Jodha laughed twice as if she was trying to interpret it in two ways-- A) She thinks yeah love-- You heartless man and that too with me, nah thats a joke😆😆😆 B) Oh you mean love with me?😲 not possible😆😆 you may have a heart but nah not for me😛😆😆

I thought the scene comes where Jodha turns to tell Jalal that she does not hate him anyone and thanks him for trusting her! Did it not come at this point?🤔

Jodha approaches Bakshi to know the reason of her misdeed. Bakshi tells her she did it out of deep love for Sharif. Jodha asks her why could she not see right from wrong and how can she do something wrong and why not take help from Jalal rather than doing such a bad deed. Bakshi tells her she does not have ans to all this but love makes one do that and she did not want to lose Sharif like her 1st husband. She deeply loves Sharif and will even die for him. She adds that perhaps Jalal & she dont share such deep love hence she wont know. Jodha is disturbed to hear all this but she quietly leaves.

Bakshi is shown to be shamelessly upholding her misdeed😒, in the name of love for Sharif?😵 How can love be selfish and evil? Love is supposed to make one become good and rise up and not turn evil because then its not love.

Jodha then meets Salima to get ans to her dilemma. She asks how can Bakshi love her husband to such an extent that she crosses the line between right and wrong and does evil act without even worrying about its repercussion. She too had feelings for ex fiance Suryabhan but she would never cross the line. Jodha also asks her whether Bakshi is victim or culprit? Salima tells her that sometimes deep love makes some people turn that way and if they have to chose between the path towards their lover and the right path then they chose the path towards the lover. Jodha then asks how to save Bakshi and Salima tells her that only Jalal can save her.

The whole convo here was to clarify to Jodha about why Bakshi did it but it fails miserably😵. The sensible Salima is sent for a toss😒. Her so called justification is so baseless that one cannot make any head or tail out of it.

I agree with u on why Jo is harsh towards Jalal.My point here is abt forgiving the culprits.

The reason for this,acc to me is the bonding shared by those ppl with her husband. She makes it clear both here and also in Ruku's FP track that Jalal would not be happy after punishing them and it would be a punishment to him too.She doesn't want Jalal to be hurt.

But are these ppl(Ruku/Bakshi)utilising the second chance properly?Ruku's plottings only increased as she felt Jalal would never punish her.Bakshi started avoiding Jodha and was rude to her when the mistake was of her hubby.This is what makes me sad.

I loved this review. You have put a lot of heart in describing the various scenes and it shows.

The Jalal Maham scene was very nicely described. Jalal was all broken and lonely, Maham consoled him, both were in tears by the end.

The description of the Jodha Jalal scene is even better, you used five stages to lay out the entire sequence of the scene in fascinating detail. The best part was the explanation of the feelings that Jodha and Jalal have begun to have for each.

The song adds colour to this beautiful post.

and trust. in this episode, though there were many faces to both these
things, there were certain things hidden behind them, that can't be
caught, they can only be felt.

The very basic thing behind the emotion of love in all scenes, was FEAR.

And the very basic thing behind the emotion of trust is EXPECTATION TO UNDERSTAND.

Just
as i said earlier these hidden emotions can only be felt and understand
to know the emotion of love or trust as the characters present
themselves to different relations.

Before i go further with this
discussion, once again I ll say Rajat was again the show-stealer , with
Pari right behind him with Salima. If anybody would have given less ,
the scene would have gone down, ruining the beautiful episode.

here
one thing was made clear, Trust can be earned by ur sincerity, ur
transparency , truth, and good-heartedness. Both Jodha and Jalal r on
the way to understand this. Jalal is ahead of Jodha to reach there but
then Jodha is to be praised for that. She has earned his trust.

Even
she had started trusting him , had this track not happened , then Jalal
would have taken same place in her life long back as she has got with
him. but that's not problem now, since she is getting to see the real
face behind the facade he keeps on. Jodha is abt to unvail that face of
Jalal , he is able to hide from the world.

I won't write abt the scenes but abt the characters, the way i felt.

Bakshi
: Whether her claim abt loving Shareef is right or wrong, that's not my
point. it's why she keeps saying she loves him, whom she wants to
convince? to the rest of the world, to Shareef or to herself? and why?
If u love somebody so deeply , as u claim, then there is no need to keep
repeating it. Others understand it from ur behavior.

I think in
case if Bakshi, more than love there is a fear. fear of losing what she
has got second time. Fear that she may not be lucky the third time , she
let go of the second chance life has given her by marrying shareef.
Fear of the fact that if she gives up on Shareef and her fate gives her
yet another chance , then she won't again be used against her own
family. and finally, fear of losing her own ppl, shareef on one side
and Jalal, Jodha, HB on other. and she stands where she really has no
choice, coz either way she loses.

Ruku : she is and always will
be very complex personality. She is happy that Jalal-Jodha had not been
together and so cherishes the moment, only for a sec. Just when she is
reminded that Jalal trusts Jodha so much that he can take the blame on
himself for her sake, her trust again turns in fear of losing him. again
she keeps saying He is only hers. Whom she wants to convince? others or
herself? why she wants to satisfy herself in this dreamland, she has
created for herself? why, after so many years of staying with Jalal, as
his friend, wife and queen , she still can't trust him with the trust
that let him go anywhere, finally he will come back to her and her only?

Hamida
: Just few days back she was questioning Jodha and now for her Jodha is
trustworthy. Many will ask question, abt HB's behaviour as a mother, as
MIL and as queen. The thing is the lady is one pure soul, who wants to
protect her own by all evils. and so when the evils r from her own, she
feels her own integrity is at stake, and she doesn't take it lightly.
She loves everybody dearly, be it her own children or be it someone
outsider like Jodha. and so one small scar on their name, and HB takes
it to her heart. a real pure soul and that's why nobody who trusts in
heart can ever go away from HB. Naturally Jodha had become so dear to
her. Jalal is not close to her , but whatever HB's relationship is with
him, she doesn't want to lose him totally. there is always this fear in
her , the way she has lost her husband, the way she has suffered all her
life, even her children will suffer. and this fear make her gain or
lose her trust in such extreme conditions. I m sure, HB will be the
person whom Jalal will turn to when Maham's true face will be revealed.

saleema:
a true mentor she is proving to be. previously for Jalal and now for
Jodha. The respect she gets from them is earned by her own. The lady
proves to be selfless, mature, and balanced than anybody else and so
neither Jalal feels shy to tell her the most private thing in his life
abt Jodha, nor Jodha feels embarrassed in telling her abt her feelings
abt Surya or Jalal. And this trust she has gained, coz both AkDha r well
aware that she will always speak truth and be loyal to them and the
trust they show in her to give them the right direction, and that too
without expecting anything from them.

MA : the true evil who
fears from good and pure soul. she cried with Jalal , agreed she
has cared for him over years, but that's for her own benefit. what will
happen when her true face will come in front of Jalal?

now our
two halfs of same coin : our own Jalal and Jodha : Both love eachother.
and i think both r aware of that. Just not ready to accept even to
themselves. reason : again same. FEAR OF LOSING. For Jalal fear is of
her rejection and of losing Jodha forever, while for Jodha fear is of
losing her own self. Jodha shows this fear by asking Salima , how
anybody can love to such extent that they r ready to lose their own
self, their dignity. Jalal gives his love the name of trust while Jodha
expresses it as a thanks (respect) for keeping her dignity.

in
the scene when he tells her that she should not expect love from him as
he can't love anybody, i laughed out like, whom he is telling , Jodha or
himself? She hasn't come and asked for ur love then why the need to say
it openly? was he telling her his expectations? did he wanted her to
understand the real him? why all those explanations to her abt himself
or even in Amer when he tells her abt his father's dream? Why Jalal? Is
he checking the waters, that if he expresses his love , Jodha will
understand and accept or will shy away from him? Is that, he trusts her
but doesn't trust himself not to break her heart in future and so is he
trying to keep her away by saying he doesn't love her? so what does
trust means for Jalal? what is love for him? owning her soul forever? so
will he accept his feelings only when he is sure of himself for not
hurting her ever again?

And what abt Jodha? the way she claims to
love Surya, was it really love or just attraction to a new relationship
she had very first time in her life? The way she keeps looking at
retreating Jalal while Bakshi is telling her the whole thing, why so
much longing in her eyes? what she wanted? that he will tell her the
truth? was she upset that he didn't trust her to trust him enough and so
asked Bakshi to tell the truth? Why she wanted to know who he really
is? why she laughed when he says that he doesn't love her? coz she
understands that he too is trying to keep distance just like she is, so
that there won't be any rejection from the other or no heartbreaking in
future?

actually, for Jodha every emotion, every feeling is to
extreme. be it hate, or love. be it sympathy, or understanding, be it
duties or respect. she will always do it with full heart. she is not
calculated like others.

anyway,let's wait and watch... he is
shattered , embarrassed. if only Jodha could touch him and console, he
will be lost in her forever. no need to hug him. just hold his face in
her hands and comfort him that he is good man at heart. that will be
enough for him to come out of this sadness. and only Jodha should do it.
Others like Ruku and all, even if they hug him, he won't be able to
stand proudly in front of Jodha, till she comforts him. right now what
he really needs is not her words , but her soft touch. just her holding
hand will also do.

another brilliant analysis diksha... 😛 ⭐️ I think this enire track and its climax was based on trust...how trusting on 1person completely will lead u to d truth whch is far beyond ur eyes can see.. and even brain can think off...as d fore most or d foundation of any relation is d trust...if its not there then its will collapse like pack of cards...and we had jalal trusting jodha when he got to see d honesty d innocence in her eyes on her face he thought of going in search of d truth... 😛
