Harshu, I loved reading your detailed analysis for today's episode.

In this entire false pregnancy fiasco, the viewers are able to see the gracious, magnanimous, mature, pragmatic and selfless side of Salima Begum. I simply could not miss her face lighting up with a smile on hearing Jalal acknowledging to the Hakima that he fully well knows Jodha is not pregnant and is confident of her being a loyal wife. Him declaring that he is aware of her emotional turmoil with the allegation of a false pregnancy, has also revealed to Salima Begum that Jalal has begun to develop feelings for his Rajput wife. She is genuinely happy about this development and decides to help ease out both Jalal and Jodha's pain by feeding the ark to Jodha, that will prove Jodha's innocence in this entire drama. The manner in which she stands up for Jodha while discussing her with Rukaiyya, proves that she is truly noble. Lesser said about BEK, the better.

We had Hamida Begum see-sawing with her reactions again, today. Fault lies with wrong characterization on the part of the Creatives. They have made a joke out of her character, in this situation.

Jalal as the distressed husband and Shehenshah was awesome today. The manner in which he stood up for Jodha by silently allowing his mother to rain abuses on him and the manner in which he again silently listens to Jodha declaring that she hates him for playing with her emotions, is simply outstanding. Once she leaves, he softly says, that she is totally justified in her anger towards and hatred for him. That both Jalal and Jodha will stand by each other through thick and thin, is obvious with both the rings balancing themselves on the weighing scale today.

Jodha is the victim here. Jalal's inconsistent replies to her about being intimate with her have completely confused her. She is really angry with him because she feels cheated and used. If only she realizes why her husband is uncharacteristically uncertain and wavering with his replies, matters would have been completely different. Right now, the self respecting Rajvanshi is too upset about her character being tainted, and cannot think about anything else besides her morality being questioned. I would have reacted the same way too. Once the truth is out, her opinion of Jalal will completely change.

Manisha, RT and PS, all three came up with awesome performances today.

thnx charu... 😛 I agree wid u completely...I loved ur pov...abt salima...she is truly a gem of a person and her maturity and intellectual level was best presented in dis track... ⭐️ ruku its true least said better... 😆 HB's character was inconsistent thru out d show...so nothing can b discussed abt her...at 1 point she was blaming accusing jodha and d next she was confessing her mistake and apologizing to her... 😕 its like she had no control over her thinking just cz 1 person told her something she acted acc to her later whn jalal confessed of spending night with jodha she realized her mistake and acted acc... 😕 its really confusing... 😕 jodha was right in her place but I feel if at all she would have for few secs thought form his pov she mite hav at least got a doubt as u said from his changing answers... 😕 but anwys wen d truth is out she will realize dat jalal was not wrong too... 😛 RT PS Manisha they were amazing thru out d epi... ⭐️

That was the necessity of the scene, perhaps. If Jodha didn't have come there and announced her nafrat for him, the next parts of the scene may not have happened.

hmmm may b as jalal's inner feelings would bee revealed and so jodha had to come to tell him how much she hated him 😕

& defended jodha was really something to watch , all his frustation of days
, were coming out... . not only jodha but he is also suffering , we all know about his temperament i think he
is working alot on this these days because being emperor he has to deal with
everyone whether people like HB , ministers , maulvis who are too excited the
news of jodha's pregnancy & others like maham , ruqs also . waise bhi
nowadays ruqu is leaving no chance in taunting him...😡

About HB , we all know that , makers never bothered to show her
character sensible...

1 I don't think the characterization of Hamida has been inconsistent. She has always been like this. A fair weather friend, who is nowhere to be seen in times of trouble. She will be around, all smiles when everything is fine, but always takes the easy way out when trouble appears.

There is another point, the Jodha Hamida confrontation again proves that a mother will always look after her own first. This situation arose because she knows her son and is convinced that he can never lie.

2 Jalal's flip flop answers, of course due to no fault of his have convinced Jodha that to Jalal this is all a game, hence her fury.

There is a reason why I find Hamida Begum's characterization inconsistent.

That she can be a sharp-witted person when the situation demands was seen during the religious conversion drama. The manner in which she handled the entire situation, was commendable. Yet, we all saw her appalling behavior towards Jodha, during the Shah-i-Iran track. I would definitely categorize it under inconsistent portrayal of a matriarch of the mughal sultanate. She is shown blowing hot and cold without applying logic or reason for that particular behavior, during a tense situation.

For an Empress who has seen both good and bad in life, being married to Humayun at a very young age, having experienced all his pit-falls with him, I naturally expect her character to show some features of worldly wisdom. It is shown, but in bits and pieces.We often see her quoting experiences with Jannat Ashiyani Humayun Sahib as the situation demands. Let the rumours about any particular begum or the Shehenshah himself float all over the harem, let the devious Mahamanga try to malign Jodha, in her exalted position as the matriarch she should have been shown, investigating the matter and and arriving at a logical reaction, not jumping to conclusions blindly relying on hearsay. Especially because she knows about the 'real' nature of Mahamanga.

I can understand that based on Jalal's fluctuating responses, and given the fact that she really does not know his personality well, as yet, Jodha sees Jalal as a person, who handles relationships frivolously, I wonder why his ammijaan, also felt the same way about him yesterday. She also told him that 'tumhare liye saare rishtein ek khel hai, Jalal'. Isn't she the one who has seen him making some of the best decisions on various issues as a Shehenshah? Isn't she the same ammijaan who assured Jodha that even if she had not supported her in the conversion issue, Jalal most certainly would have ? Shouldn't her instincts have told her that something is amiss in Jalal's reactions that are see-sawing between yes and no. The very fact that she knows her son will not lie, is why she should have given deeper thought about his conflicting replies that do not befit a shrewd and smart shehenshah.

I may be completely wrong in my thinking here, but I most certainly feel that Hamida Begum's character is inconsistently portrayed in the current track.

wow charu👏 ⭐️ I completely agree wid ur point regarding HB...she was totally immatured here...and has been when actual decisions had to be taken or rather she had to support or as d situation demands...
