Syamala di you can see Dharamveer on Dangal TV at 9.30 PM as the rerun is being shown there I watch it when ever I can

Have you ever thought how a close hug can be shown on TV if both faces are to be visible well being from Media I never get into this argument, all professionals have their own life and as long as there is chemistry between leads in the visuals/scenes shown on TV I am not bothered about foot apart and other such terms lol 😆

I only get very irritated when the story line deteriorates and goes kaput

My dear Prem,

I am with you all the way as far as Jodha Akbar is concerned.

Unfortunately, I have not seen Prithviraj Chauhan or Dharmveer. After reading your take on these, I feel I should overcome my aversion to watching things online on my laptop, and go for these two. Do let me know which is the best website for watching these 2 shows.

Dear Shyamala Aunty,

I am too late here too but what a brilliant take on this dark and gloomy track!

I do not remember your 2013 takes on these episodes which means I must have missed them! But reading the entire thread today, I realised and could not help but admire the power of a very good take (yours) on very bad writing (CVs). The Cvs should take tips from you on how to make some delicious stuff from swiss cheese rather than serving it to us raw and hole-y 😃

Thanks a ton! Now to check if my Tatasky package has Dangal TV.

As for a close hug, I do not think they should try to show both faces at the same time, but shoot alternately over one shoulder and then over the other!

Where I feel the viewers got shortchanged is that they did not show us the progress and development of the relationship after the consummation or after the twins' death. One leap after another and Jodha and Jalal go from initial love phase to mature, old couple love in a jiffy. And then they tried to correct that blunder by giving us cheesy romance towards the end.

But like you said it is a matter of individual perception and as they say perception is reality.

And this is the 10 feet romance.(OK fine...2 feet romance here) Reminds me of the statutory warnings in sharp/corrosive things...handle with care/keep at a safe distance...😆😆😆

They are so sizzling together that such forced scenes were not needed at all. Looks like these would have sufficed.😳

And let me tell you, that track is the only one where even I couldn't stand Jodha.

So now we know where your lakshmanrekha is for Jodha!😉😉 In that track, the person I felt like clobbering was Jalal. It was far worse than here, his total abdication of imperial responsibility, letting his obsessed, self-righteous wife run riot in the Diwan-e-Khaas. She should have had her mouth taped up and been shoved behind that flimsy curtain for the rest of the proceedings.

But then how could Todar Mal and Mrs. Todar Mal have been able to do a verbal aarti of Jodha Begum after he escaped being blown to smithereens by a whisker?😡

LOL Aunty! Yes, that track made my toes curl. And then they had the audacity to have that naari Shakti speech before or after one of the episodes.😲

I actually felt for Jalal. How tough must have it been for him to make a decision in such a case? His top official accused of raping his chief wife's friend.

What option did Todarmal and his wife have in front of the most powerful man and his begum, but to thank them for not blowing him up?😕 At least his wife went and gave Jodha a piece of her mind.
