Jalal observed jodha for a while now,his eyes mellowed looking his beloved wife ,decked up in a white and blue chudidaar jodha was looking no less than an angel to him.
Both were lost in their own thoughts admiring each other but soon jodha came out of her trance as her mind reminded her that she is angry on her husband .
What r u doing jodha ,remember ur angry on him , cursing herself the angry wife swiftly averted her gaze from her husband and stood besides her mother silently, and that sudden change didn't go unnoticed by her smart husband.
Is she angry ??may be ??or may be not! But if she is then im in big trouble for sure ,thought jalal with a slight chuckle remembering their childhood days.
Bharmal - how was ur first day in office beta?? Enquired bharmal bringing him out of his silent stupor .
Jalal- umm it was good papa ,we were warmly welcomed by our teammates and made friends too ,but it was really tiring day for us ,first the meeting then the project ,we even visited the venue site u know, overall it was really very hectic day for us , replied jalal gazing his wife as if trying to explain the reason behind his ignorance.
Jodha understood what her husband wanted to convey ,her heart melted , she even thought of forgiving him ,ahah but not so soon 😉 . masking a fake anger on her face jodha rolled her eyes .
Maina went into the kitchen to prepare dinner for the family and
Bharmal gets an urgent call and he too leaves the hall . jodha takes her father's seat and sukanya too joins her sister .
What about u Mirza? How was ur day ?? Enquired jodha trying to avoid her husband as much as possible.
Mirza - pretty good for me too bhabhi, got to learn many thing on the very first day of office. We really had fun with other employees who became good friends in very short span and more than me it was bhai who enjoyed lot more . The naughty devar decided to tease his bhabhi a little ,unknown to her BIL's intension jodha raised her brow confusingly.
Mirza - umm nothing much bhabhi but as ur devar I thought of warning u before hand u know, actually got a very interesting character in our office who has really fallen for bhai ,u got to be very careful bhabhi warna bhai toh aapke haath se gaye, he chuckled but soon winced in pain as a pat ended on his shoulder from his brother.
Sukanya - jiju dii ka kuch toh khayal rakha hota ,I mean I know ur irresistible and many girls fall for ur charm but that does not mean u forgot about ur marital status,she winked at her jiju.
Jalal - there is nothing like that chuhiya,pls don't beleive him ok, he tried to defend himself but was cut by his wife in between .
Jodha- Mirza I know ur brother very well, he is kind of "AADAT SE MAJBOOR" types ,and don't worry about by position ,It is and will always be safe ,waise thanks for this valuable information , she smiled hiding her anger
Jodha's pov- wah !! Here I was waiting for his one single call or message and there Mr busy bee was really busy flirting with another girl ,he really deserves my special treatment after all he is not only my husband but also my best buddy too ,how can he do this with me .
Jalal looks into jodha's dark eyes which clearly showed that something is cooking in her mind. He swore under his breath now I'm hundred percent dead he gulps his saliva, kahan phasa diya Mirza ?,jalal beta there is no way to escape now ,like a good husband be prepared to face ur gabbar's keher, mentally preparing his mind for the upcoming troubles ,he casted a final glance towards his wife but to his bad luck she refused to even look at him.
Dinner is ready shouted Mainavati informing everyone to settle on the dining table .
Everyone places comfortably in their respective places except jodha and maina as they decided to serve them first.
Jodha- jalal have this palak paneer mumma specially made this for u, taste it and tell her how it is exclaimed jodha in her oh so sweet voice .
Too much salt or too much sweet is bad for health ,jalal could sense something fishy behind her sugar coated voice .but he was left with no other choice ,jodha trapped him emotionally , sending a short prayer to Allah jalal feeded himself with a morsel of roti dipped in curry and he was not wrong ,his sixth sense prooved right.
It was jodha's old habit, when ever she was angry on jalal she used to take her revenge in her own sweet way that too silently and one of her favorite punishment was to add little bit of extra chilli powder in jalal's curry, knowing very well about jalal's hatred towards spicy food even a little amount of extra chilli powder was enough to torture him and she purposely added that extra amount to punish him today also.
Tears welled in jalal'd eyes ,he started coughing badly and gulped the whole glass of liquid in a second.
Maina- what happens jalal beta ?? Is it very spicy?? But I made it according to ur taste only exclaimed worried Mainavati.
Jalal - no maa its really yummy umm woh I stuffed a big piece in my mouth na isiliye umm he again coughed and drinks another glass of water.
Jalal finished his dinner with great difficulty, how could he leave his food in middle ? Firstly maina made that specially for him with lots of love and secondly if bharmal and maina comes to know about jodha's childish act they would have definetly scolded her and how can jalal see his beloved wife getting scolded in front of him.
Jalal- umm thanks for the lovely dinner maa dinner was really tasty , jalal uttered the words and left the place hastily .
Jodha feels really guilty she immediately goes to kitchen and repares kheer for her husband and heads towards her room.
Oohhh ahhh issshhh huffing and puffing jalal was pacing to and fro in his room,his tongue was really burning,eyes were red ,jodha enters the room and saw jalal in such bad condition, her heart ached ,she hated herself for putting jalal in such condition, she was the soul reason for jalal's pain ,tears rolled down her cheeks ,she moves towards jalal and jalal felt her presence.
Jalal- I was waiting for u only Jo ,he turns towards her and grabs the bowl of kheer ,he knew jodha very well ,if she gives pain then she cures it too .
Jalal starts eating the kheer hurriedly without even looking at Jodha, but stops when he hears her soft sobs ,jalal raises his head to face jodha and saw his angel crying.
Jalal- jodha what happened ??why r u crying .kisi ne kuch kaha?? Asked jalal worriedly.
Jodha - I I'm sorry jalal ,I didn't want to hurt u, I was sure u will make some excuse and try some other curry but u didn't? What was the need jalal,I mean u know very well about me and Im sure u already guessed that something was wrong in the curry, phir bhi u had it, why jalal, tears were flowing down her cheeks continuously ,jalal feels bad and tries to sush her up
Jalal- Jo first of all stop crying u know I can't see tears in ur eyes and look at me I'm perfectly fine now ,Jo u only said na maa made that curry specially for me then how can I disrespect her love yaar and secondly if they got to know about this whole fiasco they would have not only felt bad but also scolded u for doing so and I can't see u like that na ,isiliye kha liya he smiles childishlisly .
Jalal tried his best to make her understand but jodha was not not ready to listen anything.
Jodha- so what jalal ,they r my parents ,they have the right to scold me i would have listened to their scoldings happily kam se kam tumhe is tarah toh nahi dekhna padta, jalal if u can't see tears in my eyes then I too can't see u in pain why don't u understand?
Jalal embraces jodha into his strong muscular arms and caress her head accha baba from next time I'm not going to do anything like this ,ab has do plsss, for my sake he makes a puppy face and jodha could not stop herself from letting out a soft chuckle.
Jalal- waise Jo I'm really hurt this time, u know u punished me for no reason jalal pouted .Jo Mirza was just teasing u ,no one is interested in me ,and the person he was talking about is hoshiyaar khar ,he is a gay but he is sweet at the same time and secondly I i umm i did miss u in office but didn't get time to call u he makes an innocent face.
Jodha- really?? Wiping her tears with jer knuckles jodha asked excitedly, How sweet of u jalal
Jalal- hmm main sweet bhi hun and jhoot bhi accha bol leta hun HAINA Jo ?he winks
Jalal u will never change na he smack him on his shoulder.
Jalal any doubts?? And the duo emerged into loud bout of Giggles .
Jodha - u just wait jalal when baby will enter in this world na then me and my baby will definetly make ur life hell .
Jalal- no chance Jo baby will be on my side becoz I'm his/her father ,and together we will torture u to our heart content.
Jodha kept silent without any retort ,jalal looks at her confusingly.
Jalal- what happen Jo ? Why r u silent? U u didn't like me addressing myself as baby's father??he asked dubiously.
Jodha- no jalal its nothing like that umm she again fell silent.
Jalal- then want Jo,speak up, Jo I want to know what's going in ur mind .
Jodha- jalal I have never seen such a kind and big hearted person in my entire life, how can u accept someone else child, don't u feel ur phuphi was right jalal, I mean u deserve someone better who will love u unconditionally, give birth to ur child, the world's happiness everything . why u married me jalal .
Jalal- not again Jo ,he runs his hand in his hair frustratingly.and sits on the bed and gestures Jo to sit besides him and she follows him, Jo lets clear this whole thing once and for all, who said I'm not happy haan ? U know when ur alliance was fixed with Surya I was very happy for u but somewhere deep inside my heart there was an unknown fear, fear of loosing our friendship, fear of loosing u, what if ur in-laws didn't like our friendship, what if they ask u to stop talking with me, do u even know how many sleepless nights I had to spend ,Jo u r my only friend who understands me supports me and the fear of loosing u forever really haunted me for many days but somehow I made myself understand that this is to happen someday or the other and then I started thinking in positive way ,may be ur in-laws will turn out to be good ones and they will have no objection with our friendship ,that's how I finally accepted ur relation with Surya wholeheartedly. Jodha was listening to him silently and was shocked to hear his insecurities. She never expected such thing from jalal , jalal continued Jo I'm happy I took the decision of marrying u, now u will be with me as my friend, agreed we don't share any husband wife relation but we can be good companions na like we always r, i dont want anything from u jo, And regarding this baby, Jo for me this baby is part of ur body though Surya was the donar but who cares he is no more now and I hate him for putting u in such condition but I can't hate this innocent child ,he is ur blood too Jo HAINA and that's how I'm able to accept this child as my own kid. Jalal slowly moves his hand and keeps on jodhas stomach ,jodha feels some unknown happiness when jalal touches her belly as if the life inside her tooo accepted jalal as her father ,this is my baby Jo ,our child, we will raise our baby together, jodha don't want to hear this question again from ur mouth uttered jalal in his crystal clear voice and Jo nodded her head with her teary eyes.
It was time to sleep jodha and jalal changes into their night dress ,Mirza was given guest room ,everyone soon drifted into a deep slumber .
Morning~
Jalal slowly open his eyes and stares at jodha's cute innocent face ,jodha too opens her eyes and catches his staring but she didn't react becoz now it became normal for both joja.jodha smiles and wish him good morning and goes to washroom to fresh up and goes down jalal too freshes up, Mirza was ready , they quickly finishes their breakfast
Jodha's eyes pooled with tears ,maina and Bharmal too got emotional ,their laadli beti was going back to her house ,jodha hugged her family tightly and left the mansion with heavy heart.
Pag phere rasam ended successfully leaving some sweet and bitter moments for jodha and jalal 😊
Ok guys done with another chapter of EVAB, I wrote this chapter in hurry as u all know I was down with cold and fever ,and was feeling little better from yesterday only so thought of updating chapter today , hope it didnt turned out to be total bakwaas 😆 , waiting for ur reviews ,thanks for ur support 😊
