Hi folks, in Harshu's absence I am here to do honors.
O.K here goes.
Scene 1- It is a continuation from yesterday, Jodha in a petrified state at what her new Jallad husband is going to do. Mainawati comes in and Jodha bursts into tears in her arms. Jodha needn't have worried, our Jallad once again surprises her, he had asked the Ameri paltan to stay. But of course, Jodha saw an ulterior motive in this too. Will no one understand our Jallad?
Scene 2- Jalal with Ruqaiya. He is all fury and brimstone of how he is going to take revenge on Jodha. Ruqs listens with glee but the last part of the scene deflates her. Jalal takes a mirchi and chomps on it. He then tells Ruqs a story of how a King took small amount of poison everyday to develop immunity.
The warning bells should have been ringing then and for once even the dense Ruqs heard it loud and clear. Jalal is obsessed with Jodha. Ruqs says as much to Jalal, which of course he vehemently denies. Now will start the struggle between his heart and his mind. He won't give in easily.
Scene 3- Jodha is lamenting to her Kanha what a 'bad boy' her patidev is. As often happens, the patidev drops in just then and listens to her complaints with growing anger. Ruqs words about him falling for Jodha had already raised his temperature to a high level, Jodha's complaints takes his anger to boiling point. He rants of how is going to make her cry in silence.
Really good acting by both Rajat and Paridhi here. Rajat is particularly good as the man conflicted by his feelings.
Scene 4- Ruqaiya in her bath pool, like a green eyed tortoise waddling in swamp water. Jalal comes in and begins his Jodha revenge talk, once again the dense Ruqs does not grasp the significance of this. She foolishly decided to challenge Jodha to a game of chess. How can one be so foolish and arrogant at the same time. Ruqs shows how.
We needed a Maham for this exercise to beat Jodha not a airy headed bimbo.
Scene 5- Salima Sultan and little Rahim meet Jodha for the first time. Really nice scene, the goodness of Salima sparkles in this first contact and our little bundle of mischief makes a nice impression on Jodha.
Final Scene- Adham's is busy doing what he does best, being a bully, this time he is tormenting a band of banjaras. Jalal comes on the scene. Adham all fury at the gaddars tears away the flag of the Banjaras and it lands on Jodha's feet. She is fuming. So angry that one could imagine nearby things catching fire.
God save our beanpole villain from the wrath of the Ameri mirchi. One has to thank god that Jalal is there to save him. Let's see tomorrow.
