See guys Ekta is a shrewd woman. And like anyother person this is bussiness. The sole motive of making movies/films is to earn bucks...huge sum!

And people say she understand the vein of her audience.

Now this makes me question.

Do we as an audience like to see Naari Shakti the way she or any other PH shows?Not even in our wildest dreams.

Then who are these people who encourags her to show all these.

I have started to beleive this country is full of regressive ideologies, sexitism, and hypocrisy.

They'll talk about woman empowerment but they won't oblige.

These makers of tv shows have miserably failed to undetstand the basic concept of woman empowerment.

This is no sense means degrading men.

How can someone be empowered by degrading other?

You simply cannot raise one gender and put down the other.

Either these tv people put thr woman on a pedestal or they make her grovel at her mans feet.

And this is what she has done to Akbat as well.

First made him a ruthless, and a arrogant ruler.

Now she's making him JKG!

How amazing is that!

What a thoroughgoing depiction of the fate you would like to deal out to the CVs! 👏

I wish it could be real, and I would join you in bashing the living daylights out of them for causing so much heartburn to all of you.

As for me, I do not watch the serial any more, in fact since the chudail track, so I am safe, revelling in the early episodes and looking forward to the Gordian Knot post!

Two questions. 1) Who is Manish Paliwal and where did Ela bash him? 2) Where do you get all these mannikins?

Wow...the first 100 episodes were beyond magic, so much so that even today there is an itch to tune in at 8, perhaps the abysmal script and lack of creativity pinches as much because of the magic that we know leads and premise of the story are capable of.

I had solemnly vowed to never come back to forum or the show, but seeing the latest promo knocked me off!!! It is one thing to make an SBS drama, to glorify the female lead, but quite another to vilify / nullify the male lead to this extent...my personal opinion of Mughals and Rajputs aside, the fact is they are integral to my country's history...and by showing a former ruler (who by all accounts was a great warrior and political mastermind) sooo stupid and gullible to play into the hands of mere traders is an insult to my country...and no disclaimer is allowed to do that !

I have lodged a complaint against the show at http://www.ibfindia.com/node/2

and urge folks to do the same.

If they wanted to make a SBS then they should have sent Akbar on a long long war and focused on Harem only na, at least Rajat would have been spared the horror of playing that perpetual champu!!! Why couldn't they have just shown him die in a battle (yes even the 3 soldier waving ramleela props in air variety), frankly the CVs had no vision at all they jumbled up big time by taking a leap which was irreversible(thank god they dint show Jodha invent a time machine)...its only been 6-7 months since the leap and they could have easily shown the political reforms and harem politics during this time.

I guess, CVs had no regard for history and even lesser for real people who lived through it...and so even audience dint show any regard for their output.

Manish Paliwal is one of the script writers of Jodha Akbar. Our Ela, bashes him left, right & centre in Twitter. She has a huge fan following for this ! 😆

Thats why i lost interest and stopped watching long ago... I couldnt bear this ... Really cant ... Love story doesnt mean tht the male must be budhu , highly incapable and female is all rounder ... I dont know who want to like this injustice and descrimination of akbar in the name of love story ...

What you haves said I s 1000% true.
I'm happy all the butchering n hammering is finito!
The leap happened when JA were still in their infancy of their relationship. Just when u thought ok all the gussa, grina wina Sab was over; out came Salim in 9 seconds not nine months and then still in 9 micro seconds the leap happened.
For the CVs n the production house to think audiences can take the time machine effect was a wrong calculation.
And then within 9 nano seconds some mahanupurush or mahanstree decided in drop in grenades called 'Sanar'. Just when the grenades were about to burst they pulled or rather put the plugs in and said
Aiyla ! Something is not right.
Then they tried to leap into flashback ... 9 years ago or rather 19 years ago. What ? somebody forgot the minute details that Salim was now 19 years not 9 months and his parents are still romancing for having missed on their Honeymoon.

To make it a chat masala bring in Laboni and her mother. They did not want to spare the British too, so bring n British or rather white skinned tourists who enacted those parts for some cool extra money.

Uff! I am glad it's over and done. For all those fine actors in show it will be a new beginning from this end.
I wish them good luck and we can reminisce all those past episodes and stay in bliss.
