CHAPTER 4

After ordering Atgha Shahab and other, he went to meet his beloved and his cute princess. As he entered the room his heart beat skipped by seeing the sight. Jodha was drying her hair after bath and Noor was sleepy in her cradle. Jodha didn't notice that her naughty husband was looking at her lustfully. She was busy in her hair. Slowly Jalal walked towards her and slides his arms around her waist. This action of his bought Jodha back to reality and saw through mirror that her husband was staring at her lustfully. She blushed very badly and pleaded him

JODHA: - Shahenshah, leave me otherwise someone will see us. Leave me

JALAL: - No one has the guts to come in our room without my permission. Don't you know????? And Jodha, you are looking very stunning in wet hair. No one can say that you have just given birth to a child just few hours ago. You look like a new bride who has just entered Agra. (And slowly he started kissing her neck and shoulders. While kissing he was seducing her with is dirty talks. Suddenly they heard something and turned towards that direction. When they followed that sound and stop their gaze there, they were delighted. It was Noor who was playing with a toy which had sweet tingling sound in it (it was a type of a rattle). Both of them went towards her. When they reached there, they saw their daughter was very happy and smiling on them as if she knew that who they were. Jalal could not control his emotions and carried her softly in his arms and said) AAAHHH!!!! OOOHHH HHOOO what's my little angel doing????? Want to play with Daddy????? (By hearing this she just gave him a comforting smile which was like a precious treasure to him. A lone tear fell from corner of his eyes which was noticed by Jodha. She softly wiped it. Jalal saw her and said) Jodha I promise I will not happen her anything in this world. Even if it is a slight scratch, it has to go through me. (Jodha could understand his possessiveness. After the twin's death, both of them could not afford to lose their daughter. But Jodha was also a bit more practical with her thoughts. So she kept her hands on his shoulder and said)

JODHA: - Shahenshah, Nothing can happened to our child. Remember what Salim Baba told that she has born with a purpose, so she will have to face many difficulties in her life. But it's our responsibility to teach her good and evil, love and care, right and wrong etc. And one thing is for sure that our daughter will be a very good human being in her life. After all she is Noor-e-Jalal. How can she learn to lose?????? TELL ME????

Jodha's encouraging words were enough for him to know that she had immense faith on their blood. Jalal pulled her into a family hug and stayed like that for some time. They broke their hug when they heard the announcement.

GUARD: - HOSIYAAR, MARIUM MAKANI HAMIDA BANU HAS ARRIVED.

She and other royal ladies entered with some gifts and other things in their hand as they were not allowed at the time when Noor was just born. So they came to meet their princess personally. Hamida came in front, kissed on Jodha and Jalal's forehead, took Noor in her arms and said

HAMIDA: - How is my bacchi????? Do you know who I m?????? You're Daadijaan. (As soon as she heard this she smiled on her. By seeing her like this Jalal and Jodha were very happy. One by one all the ladies started giving their gifts and blessings to the child. Jalal in surprising tone)

JALAL: - If now only you all are giving her the gifts now, then what will you all do in the celebration???????

GULBADAN BEGUM: - Don't stop us today Jalal. Let us pamper her as much as we want. (And everyone were again busy with their princess. After a while everybody left from their room to get ready for the celebration I mean GRAND CELEBRATION)

It was evening now. Time for the GRAND CELEBRATION. Various kings from different states were invited for the event. Even his subjects were allowed to see their princess. The palace was decorated with beautiful, colorful and fragrant flowers and diyas were lit in each and every nook-n-corner of the palace. All the ladies and men were dressed in their best attires. Different types of food items were prepared like Ameri, Mughalia, and Marathwadi. Whichever sweets were coming in everyone's mouth, that many sweets were prepared. Artists from different parts of Hindustan were invited to Royal Durbar. By the arrangement everyone can tell that the Badashah of Hindustan's happiness knew no bounds today.

Other side both of them were getting ready for the event. Jalal wore a dark purple jamaa and pajama which had leaf designs weaved with gold thread and precious stones. His velvet cream color overcoat bordered with golden thread complimented his attire. He completed himself with a 5 set pearl neckpiece beaded with white, green and red pearls. He wore his Taj, took his sword covered with precious stones and went to his Mallika-e-hind and His Princess. At other end Jodha was getting ready. She wore a Baby Pink color Ghaghara-choli studded with Dark pink stones and silver thread. She accessorized herself with Diamond and ruby neck piece, Mang-Tikka, nose ring, ear rings and anklets. She wore a pearl studded Kamar-patta to complete her look. On top of that her red lips, her pink cheeks and her slim waist can make any man weak on their knees and our cute little princess was wrapped in a red velvet cloth which was very soft like a silk. It was specially bought from Dhaka (Now in Bangladesh. First it was a big place for silk cloths. Mughal's bought their silks from there) for her of course by Jalal's orders. Jalal entered the room without any announcement. As soon as he went in and saw Jodha, his breath stopped. To be more presided he forgot to breath. He was not able to control his desire, but he knew that Jodha has just got up from a difficult stage. He cannot do anything right now. Still he was trying his level best to control him and went near her. When the daisies saw him, he indicated them to go silently from there. They obeyed his orders and went away. All this was unnoticed by Jodha. Suddenly Jodha felt strong hands on her shoulders and lifted her face. As she lifted her face, she blushed very badly because her so called nice husband was drooling over her lustily. She said in low voice.

JODHA: - Why are you looking at me like this??????

JALAL: - What have you done to me Jodha. Your beauty has become more and more graceful. If I take you today in celebration then I have to tell Salim Baba to take your NAZAR' in every 5 to 10 minutes. (And he kissed her on her head. Jodha was not able to lift her eyes, but soon everything got distracted by Noor as she was growing restless. Both of them saw her and understood this. Jalal immediately to her in his arms and said) is my princess ready to meet everyone??????? (At this she smiled at her father and both of them with their princess headed towards the hall)

In Diwan-e-Aam, everyone was waiting for the royal couple and their princess. Because it was Diwan-e-Aam, everyone had to stand there except Hamida Banu, Jalal and Jodha. Ruqaiya was burning from inside and thought "Why is Jalal doing so much for a girl child???? After all she is just a princess. Nothing else". Her thoughts broke when the guard announced.

GUARD: - HOSIYAAR, NOOR-E-TAKTH-E-MUGHALIA, SHAHENSHAH JALLALUDIN MOHOMMAD. MALLIKA-E-HIND JODHA BAI AND NOOR-E-JALAL PRINCESS NOORJAHAN HAVE ARRIVED IN DIWAN-E-AAM.

All of them entered together. Everyone greeted them in their honor. Noor was in Jalal's hand. They reached near the thrown and sat together. Soon everyone started coming to them and offering them gifts and blessing to the new born. After a while Jalal rose from his seat and announced

JALAL: - I m glad that you all are here to celebrate my daughter's birth. Today is the best day of my life and I could see this day only because of 1 person, JODHA BEGUM. She has been my moral support in my most difficult days and a great strength to the Mughal Empire. Even If I give her anything for such big support it will not match up to her strong will power. But still I will give her 2 gifts which she truly deserves. (He saw Atgha Shahab and indicated something and he went. Again he turned and said) I ANNOUNCE JODHA BEGUM AS MARIUM-UZ-ZAMANI AND WALI-E-NIMMAT BEGUM. From now on, everyone will address her as Wali-e-Nimmat Marium-uz-Zamani Begum. And there is no need to tell what will be the consequence if you go against her?????? (Everyone understood very well about this. Other side Ruqaiya was not ready to believe what she was hearing was truth. She just wanted to break Jodha's head at that moment. She wanted those titles from the time when she got Hussian under her custody but Al-hah had some other plans for her. And then the grand celebrations started. Many programs were held in Durbar. Then everyone went for the dinner and after a while again everyone resumed to complete the rest of the programs. At late night everything came to an end and everyone went to their respective rooms.
