Once Jalal was out of sight, Ruchi turned to Jodha all stunned. "My god, don't tell me the chief guest was here. Seriously?", her wide-opened eyes reflected her throbbing excitement.

After not getting any response, she continued. "Jo. Tell me the truth. Why was he here? Are you and him..??", before Ruchi could even complete what she wanted to say, Jodha interrupted her in between.

"Please Ruchi. Nothing like that.", Jodha at once shushed her up but even she was at a loss of answer because she actually didn't know the reason behind his coming over there.

"Oh so why was he here?" Ruchi carried on with the enquiry.

"Arre, he just came to congratulate me. And left now. Will you please stop the enquiry now? And I have an important work for you. You're going to settle down all the chaos here. Pleaseee??", Jodha came up with an instant lie to dismiss Jalal's topic and turned to actual business.

"What? No.", Ruchi answered looking around the mess in the room.

"It's almost 12:30 yaar. I will be so late reaching to home. Please do this na. For me. I promise I'll give you a treat tomorrow.", Jodha charmingly persuaded.

"I and our team are anyway going to take that from you. But I am not clearing all this.", she refused outright, horrified with the mess all models created.

"Ok fine. Bye. You carry on. Zyada se zyada I'll be late to home. Maximum I'll reach by 2 or 3 in morning as this room alone will take an hour. Bye dear, I better get back to my work", she smiled faintly and turned away.

"Drama queen. Pack your stuff and leave before I catch you", Ruchi threatened her.

"Knew it. Thanks so much. Love ya", Jodha gave a side hug to her. "I am sorry haa. I have to leave now. Bye", Jodha caught hold of her bag and left the place.

Her diminishing figure was watched over by a pair of wicked eyes from a distance.

Jodha slowed down her vehicle as the cool night-breeze gently kissed her cheeks. "So soothing", she delightedly murmured and closed her eyes for a fleeting second.

A huge beep sound from the preceding car instantly brought her out from her peaceful moment and she looked in rear-view mirror to have a proper look.

"The road is so less crowded, almost empty right now. Can't the person just move ahead taking a side route? Why beeping behind me?", she muttered in irritation.

She changed direction to give way to the car but strangely, the car too moved towards her direction and beeped again as if asking Jodha to clear the way.

"What the heck", Jodha mildly shrieked. She again changed her direction and accelerated her scooty to get out of the strange situation as quickly as she could.

But the car, rather the person driving it, had no interest in letting go of the desired moment. The car quickly got back at Jodha and hit her scooty with a mighty force.

Jodha was way too shaken with the jolt to even figure out what was going on. With a great spirit in the next moment, she somehow managed to not lose her balance and continued riding her vehicle, as speedily as she could.

"Oh my god, oh my god. He's a psycho for sure. Maybe a drunkard. God. I need to run.", she grumbled while breathing heavily.

Just when she headed forward, a huge source of light coming towards her totally blinded her eye-sight for a moment. The light was so powerful and intense; Jodha could hardly to see anything beyond it.

"Oh my god, it's a truck probably. A psycho behind and this obstacle in front", extremely scared by now, she tightened her grip over the handles. She was not going to let either of them win, come what may.

She calculated the angle roughly, at which she had to turn her vehicle and take over the impending truck in order to safely come out of the grave situation.

As soon as the truck neared her, she took a right turn heading forward in near blindness and successfully dodged it.

"Thank you", she said looking up in the sky while a droplet of sweat trickled down from her forehead towards the neck.

A few minutes of silence prevailed as she looked back while riding ahead. "I can't believe what just happened. I might have died", she shuddered at the very thought.

Taking a few deep breaths to relieve herself, she rode ahead. Covering some distance, she again heard the same beep from behind, and when she looked in the mirror, her eyes widened to learn that it's the same car.
