I also felt that Akbar looked a little I don't know what, just not the way someone looks after they have spent a wild night with their spouse/better half, the next morning when he came to say hello to Jo. if they had had a merry old time he would have been a little more lovey dovey, a little more shararti. He also kept his distance from her.
I really do not think he did anything ashobhinya with JoLab.
And it was supposed to be their Suhag Raat. He would have definitely woken up with her if they had spent the night together.

I think Laboni must have flung things around in anger after he left and then just pretended in front of Jo the next morning.

Yes, Devki, can't agree more with you. From the beginning of the scene Jodha woke up alone in her room. I also think that they didn't consummate their marriage, or he would've woke up next to her like one year ago. By seeing Jalal's face and behavior like everything is fine, I think he's upto sth, coz he knows Jodha very well and the messed room is one clue.

@bold: nick name ...😆😆

I also agree completely with you here, well said ..We might get to see something later on and I feel from watching JO room in a mess, it must have been laboni's frustration as what she wanted did not happen.

The only thing I liked was Paridhi's versatility as an actress, coz she was amazing impersonating a devilish character like Laboni, even she does it much better than the original one👏.

The episode itself was 😡, Sanar were tolerable.

Let's see how fast Jalal will realize her strange behavior.

Devki, like you, I will say my opinion about this track when it finishes. At this time is very difficult to say anything.

@bold: very true and completely agree. It was a class apart from laboni and had its own grace and she was looking beautiful. With laboni I found it so OTT and repulsive...Though not much for this track, I loved to watch Paridhis acting today. Jalal was amused and smiling, it was very sweet to watch both jalal and Jodha.

You know girls, the more I think about it, the more I feel that this track may not be as bad as it appears.
I read in one of Abhay's older posts that Akbar had developed an interest in the occult/magic in his later years and was learning it from some hindu yogi. It was in a letter written by a British officer to his sister. Perhaps that sadhu is Yogi Udaynath? Maybe the CVs are trying to show this phase of Akbar's life in their OTT NR way and how it could have happened.

I don't think they can be so intellectually challenged as to show Akbar fooling around with a ghost, so what if she comes packaged inside his beautiful Jodha. He was zoned out in the first half of this track, he will be sharper than a knife in the second half. At least I hope so.

This is my very first daily soap so I really don't know what games CVs play but I am going to grab my sandwich and my diet soda, put my feet up and enjoy the show!

Goodnight!

Devki

PS: Sindhu, galati se bhi nickname ke doosre akshar ko badalna muth.😉

Devki,

Akbar was trying to learn the 'magical' Hindu practices. But, that is a different thing. That Brahmin was well versed in Mahbharata. This is what Badayuni also tells us, along with that officer.

But, the CV's are not inspired from this bit of history. This time they have taken everything for a toss. ;)

I used to look forward to watching each epi of Jodha Akbar but since Laboni track I just don't feel like it anymore. I thought everything was going to be great in the re-marriage episode and mughal-e-aazam track was going to begin. But CVs decide to keep laboni - utterly disgusting episode!! As soon as they take Laboni out I will watch the show again.

Thanks for clearing that bit of info Abhay. And I thought Akbar was into Jaadu Tonaa LOL!! Apologise for bringing your name into this without checking first.
