Jodha : Jalal...what are u doing here...
Jalal : what do u mean? Arre this party is for us why would i miss that...come lets go inside ...will talk there..
They went inside...As soon as Jalal saw Jodha under the bright lights he was shocked...He was about to say something...but..
Jodha : Salima apaa told me that u are not in Mumbai and has got some urgent work and...
Salima : and u wont come today...so Jalal u r back...
Jalal : salima don't u think that was a bad prank...why did u make my wife feel she was all alone...especially when u guys were in couple...
Jodha just couldn't believe her ears...Jodha: (to herself)did he just say the things that i was thinking and was going through..
Suddenly she noticed that all of them were smiling at them...and even Jalal looked embarrassed...she gave him a confused look...
Jalal : guys i just need to talk to Jodha in private...
He took her to corner..
Jalal : what are u wearing...
Jodha : what?it is a tea length gown..
Jalal : Jodha i meant...u look like a kid...tum ekdum bachchi lag rahi ho...arre tumhare saat khada rahunga toh main tumhara bhai lagunga...did u notice that they all were smiling at us?Its coz u look like a teenager and i look like a 30 yr old man and we together look like..
Jodha :Jalal...(took him to the washroom and stood in front of the mirror)...dont look at the way they look at us...but...just look in the mirror..we look like a newly married couple..who are in love with each..i mean we just look like that even though we are not...and who told u that u look like a 30 yr old man...Look Mr..my husband is quiet young...and handsome we are made for each other...coz he had said my brother that what he likes the most in me is that i am similar to him and i believe i look beautiful so that makes him also handsome...
Jalal smiles and is happy the way she made him feel good...They all had their dinner...and left for their respective rooms...But Jalal and Jodha were still sitting in the dinning room...
Jalal :are u sleepy?
Jodha : no..why?
Jalal : i was thinking if we could just...walk...i mean ...
Jodha : yeah why not...
Jalal : chalo then we ll go out..come..
He takes her hand in his...She didn't expect him to do this...somewhere she felt that he is taking the initiative to understand her..and make this relationship work...
Jalal: so...i have heard that u love nature a lot...
Jodha : yeah...but great business men like u doesn't even have enough time to enjoy the nature...
Jalal : even i enjoy watching the nature...(looks at her and is lost)its beautiful...and gives immense peace...just one look at her and i m happy i don't know why but it feels great...
Jodha : seriously?cant believe u r saying this...
Jalal : actually the problem with us is that we have never bothered to know each other...i mean i can talk everything about ur professional life but personal...we r so much into our work that even at home we behave like business man and his legal advisor...Jodha i would like to know more about u as a person...i really wanted something to happen between us...i mean something romantic...look at Salima and Abdul...they are together for the past 5 years...it was an arranged marriage...there is a certain chemistry between them...maybe becoz they were childhood friends..and they knew each other...u know me very well when it comes to business or our company...u know the way i would have dealt with a company,my decision on a particular contract,my opinion about a project...without me saying anything...but on a personal level...i don't even know ur favourite colour...
Jodha was just staring at him...
Jodha : Jalal...not knowing my favourite colour doesn't mean that u don't know me or understand me and it has been just a month and a half..it will take sometime...see most important think is that we don't spend time together and whenever we try...we end up fighting or arguing...
Jalal : exactly...Jodha u need to stop arguing...i know u r a good lawyer but don't prove that to me every now and then...
Jodha : just see who started it...u r the one who provokes me...u annoy me a lot and i hate u for that...and when i m angry either i cry or shout..and in ur case the second one happens...
Jalal : by the way why did u choose law as ur career becoz i have heard that ur father wanted u to become a businesswoman..
Jodha : well my dream since childhood was to become a lawyer...so...
Jalal : hmmm u had any boyfriend?
Jodha : what?...i had friends who were boys but no i wasn't in a relationship...
Jalal : never?
Jodha : never..
Jalal : i cant believe that...i mean u look...okay okay..and talented too..still nobody ever proposed u?
Jodha : when did i say that?...i got 3-4 proposals during my college days and even after joining ur company...
Jalal ;(shocked) what?from my company?who proposed u?
